I have made it a habit of fasting. Am fasting for the 13/8 until, was nice of my Almighty Father for guiding me to pastor Jentezen learning to fast and all about your word, in JESUS name Amen

I see this more from the Fathers view. He see's EVERYTHING...can you even imagine the gore, the pain and suffering, the tears and agony, the death and hell fire that He must witness day in and day out? He alone with His Son are bombarded with all this plus hatred, indifference, false idols, lies about Him and on and on...then comes Satan spewing his foulness all over before the Father, accusing this one and blaming that one. Then suddenly in the midst of ALL this putrid garbage...up rises the prayer of one of His children praising and honoring Him and loving on Him, adoring Him, worshiping Him!!!! We were created in His image and likeness which to me means just as we like to get a hug from someone WE love and feel like SOMEONE cares about us and what we are going through...He too, appreciates and craves affection and love from us as well. Praise You Father You are SO awesome, patient, loyal, kind, understanding and good in every way!!! We thank You for Your patience in dealing with this fallen world and Your children on it and we pray for the soon return of Your Beloved Son, Yeshua/Jesus THE Christ!!! HalleluYAH!!!!

Yep, 21:48 rocked me too. He let me go my way to see what ever I tried would not work, I hit rock bottom. I almost ended my life. But 1 small detail stopped me that day. I was not religious or ever went to church, I remembering saying out loud "GOD help me" I was dropped to my knees instantly, the voice I heard that day is the same voice I follow today. GOD is so powerful. You just have to whole-heartedly accept him. I didn't that day I said GOD help me, I never expected a response and never expected myself to have a relationship, But I whole-heartedly do now.

I believe there's other fasting besides food if you have problems in your life with too much of one thing and it makes something that's good turn to bad I believe that he hears our prayer and blesses us for fasting with those things that we have tremendous trouble with like say you're on the computer too much and you're obsessed with it well by fasting from the computer and praying you're going to have blessings from it you're not going to be obsessed with it and it's going to be a blessing in the end things like that or if you're compulsive shopper you fast from shopping and pray and your prayers will be answered in ways where it turns the bondage into a blessing, God bless you and your family thank you Jesus hallelujah..

when your prayer is not answered its not Gods fault its our own fault ...may be we don't knw how to pray the right way... or may be we are just using God to give us what we want and don't what intimacy with him, or maybe we don't have faith to pray , or maybe we are not patience for our miracle or we are entertaining sin in our life ...those are the Biblical reasons y God doesn't answer our prayers and sometimes God knows what is best for us than we do... Sometimes God want us to reach in a point where we will speak like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.. that I knw God can answer my prayers and even if he doesn't, he is still worthy to be praised..

So you're telling me that no matter how much I pray my situation won't change??? I love praying to God because I know He will make things better but I don't like the fact that you're saying I am basically praying for a sweetener..when in all actuality I just want things to change.

I don’t agree with that statement either. There are many examples of prayers being answered for healings, deliverance from the enemies, etc to believe that God won’t change a situation. Yes sometimes prayers seem to not be answered, however we don’t know the whole context behind it as to why. All we know is things like sickness do not come from God and we have to stay diligent in prayer, never give up hope. In the Bible, There were times where prayer wasn’t answered right away, or were answered in a different way than expected. For example, Naaman in 2 kings 5:14. In essence, Naaman expected his healing to come by a very specific way but the prophet Elisha told him he had to dip in the Jordan to be healed. So while pastors are good to listen to, fellowship with, etc, it’s important to remember that God is the answer and his word is truth. Always look to what the scriptures say. Many say to never fear, don’t doubt, ask whatever you wish, etc. God is telling us to hope, to have Faith. “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful” Hebrews 10:23

When 2 disciples can't cast out a demon out of a child, prayer alone can't do it, but it must be paired with fasting. The message is that you must also fast to humble yourself and gain recognition from God.

Fasting means NO FOOD AT ALL. Anything else is only SELF DECEPTION. Period. The Lord is not deceived. I've done 7, 14, 22, 28 day fasts. And am on day 7 of a current fast, no food. And with much prayer, for others.

The blood and gore, and murder of God's beautiful animal souls (yes. The Bible is clear on that fact), was supposed to make us STOP wanting to sin! God made it crystal clear, that He does not WANT the death of His precious animals as sin sacrifices - and for ANY reason. He wants our BROKEN SPIRIT! But, way too many Christians REFUSE to read those many passages in which God told the Israelites the above. Today, Christians STILL won't hear God! GO VEGAN, AS GOD TOLD ALL TO DO IN NUMBERS 11!

Yeah sure I believe in a creator but I'm also a Deist I believe that this same creator is no longer active today and doesn't give a damn about the creations on this planet. So the purpose of animals is to be eaten and the sole purpose of humans is to worship this ill natured force? *(Isaiah 43:7)* I find that to be hollow lacking substance and extremely arrogant... similar to when a young girl has a baby just to have someone to love her smh. Can you please tell me why an astronomical amount of angels worshipping God 24/7 isn't enough? Btw I said "force" for lack of better words due to minimal proof of God's gender, the whole man created in God's image is too objective it doesn't specify gender.
