God's Calendar Vs. Man's Calendar

When does the day really begin - from a biblical perspective? Is it at midnight, at sunrise, or at sunset? And when exactly does the week begin? On Monday, Saturday, or Sunday? Finally, when does the month and the year really begin - from a biblical perspective?
There are so many calendars today. We have the Roman calendar, the Chinese calendar, the Islamic calendar, the Hebrew calendar, and many others. Since each one is different from all the others, there’s so much confusion about this topic. So, which among them is correct?
In this episode, I will share with you the correct, biblical reckoning of time which humans lost when they rejected God in their lives. Let’s discuss.
To download a FREE copy of the correct calendar, here is the link:

U nailed it. I am a christian ,following the Gregorian calendar n recenly listened to a podcast explaining this cocept. I am by profession an electrical engineer ,but the explanations all had me confused. Now it is crystal clear to me. Time to put it in black n white for my reference along with all the verses. U were using a NKJV BIBLE. I will now be moon gazing to get my calendar RIGHT. THANK U DANIEL OF THE BIBLE IF I CAN PUT IT THAT WAY. WILL LISTEN TO EVERY PODCAST OF YOURS.

@@rhoelstodomingo6262 I may have missed that part in the video but I am SDA and I have been studying more about God's Sabbath Day. I do know that there are Two Sabbaths, God's Sabbath Day and the Sabbath of ROME ( Saturday) which honors the Planet Saturn. The Gregorian Calender Was once called the Julian Calender. Pope Gregory XIII was the Leader Of The Roman Catholic Church and He instituted the Gregorian Calender which is also Pagan. God said man will seek to Change His Times And Laws. This video to me is Contradicting, there are some valid points he spoke and then some are in opposition of God's Holy Day Sabbath...This is what I get from listening to the video....A friend witnessed to me about SDA's and God's Sabbath Day, without giving it much thought, I accepted and was baptized without asking the Holy Spirit to Guide me into All TRUTH. I started studying on a deeper level to understand God's Calender From Mans Calender, His Sabbath From Man's Sabbath and a lot of what SDAs believe.... I Started Questioning It Myself... Leviticus 23:27-32 was not talking about the weekly Sabbath. It was only talking about the day of atonement, the day of atonement is Observed from evening of the 9th to the evening of the 10th in 7th Moonth. A DAY BEGINS FROM DAWN TO DAWN. A day starts from morning and end the next morning. A day dosen't start from evening to evening, If you look at Genesis chapter 1 on the first day of creation, the first thing that Yahweh our Creator Created was light, This means that the first day of creation started with light not evening. SCRIPTURES THAT SHOWS A DAY STARTS FROM MORNING TO MORNING. If you look at the book of Joshua 6:15, You will see that when Yahweh told the children of Israel to go and match around the wall of Jericho on the 7th day, They went there at dawn, early in the morning. EXODUS 19:10-16 When Yahweh Our Creator told his people the Israelites to get ready that he will meet them on the third day, the got ready and on the third day, he met them at dawn, early in the morning. 1 SAMUEL 20:34-35. When David and Jonathan agreed to meet on the third day, When the third day came, they met at dawn, early in the morning. SABBATH DAY STARTS FROM MORNING AND END THE NEXT MORNING. On the 7th day, Usually the Moon is half, the Sabbath starts from the morning of the 7th day ( at dawn, when day light begins to appear in the sky) and ends on the morning of the 8th day, at the dawning of the day when day light begins to appear in the sky. On the second Sabbath of the Moonth, usually the Moon is Full, the Sabbath starts from that morning at dawn to the next morning at dawn. The Sabbath day begins from morning at the dawning of the day to the next morning at dawn, when day light begins to appear in the sky.

Sabbath begins from morning and end the next morning. Sabbath is NOT evening to evening. If you look throughout the Scriptures, when Sabbath is mentioned, it usually starts from morning and ends the next morning. For example. In EXODUS 16:23-25, When The Sabbath was introduced to Israelites, That Sabbath day in exodus 16:23-25 started from morning, Not from evening. MATTHEW 28:1 Says, At the end of the Sabbath, As it was dawning (morning) towards to first day of the week. Matthew 28:1 clearly shows that the Sabbath ended at dawn in the morning. SABBATH DAY IS NOT EVENING TO EVENING. The Only Scripture that comes close to saying that Sabbath starts from evening is in Leviticus 23:27-32, but Leviticus 23:27-32 was not talking about the weekly Sabbath. Leviticus 23:27-32 was specifically talking about the day of atonement and Yahweh called that day of atonement a Sabbath. He told us in Leviticus 23:27-32 to Observe that day of atonement from evening to the next morning, that is from evening of the 9th to the evening of the 10th

It varies from 12 to 13. Every 19 years, there are 12 years with 12 months and 7 years with 13 months. After 19 years, the sun, moon, and earth come into complete alignment. (God’s Sacred Years start and end on the New Moon day on or after the Spring Equinox [Years 1, 3, 6, 9, 11, 14, and 17 have 13 months, the rest have 12. The modern Hebrew Calendar (a.k.a the Calculated Rabbinical Calendar) follows a similar pattern: 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, and 19, but their 19-year time cycle is one year off and behind the true astronomical cycle.])

I’ve know this about our calendar and have tried explaining God’s way of measuring time to people, including pastors, who just don’t get it and are stuck on following tradition and main stream Christian beliefs, instead of what the Bible plainly lays out. BTW. All these changes and pagan practices were instituted by the roman church.

There are many references, actually. Here is one in Revelation 11:1-3. "Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." Here we see 42 months equivalent to 1,260 days, giving 30 days per month. Also in Revelation 22:2, we read: "In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." There are 12 months (of 30 days) in one year.

On the day the LORD gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the LORD in the presence of Israel: "O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon."13. So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. Solar Calendar And command thou the children of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning- three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according to their testimony, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts. But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years will be dislodged] and they will neglect their ordinances. And all the children of Israel will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new moons, and seasons, and sabbaths and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lies) written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance. For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon -how (it) disturbs the seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the months and sabbaths and feasts and jubilees. For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayst testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new moons and seasons and sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh. - Jubilees 6: 32-38

Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. The expression in Joshua 10:12-14 shouldn't be taken as a literal, scientific statement, since we know that the earth rotates on its axis as it revolves around the sun. Instead, this is a simple statement from an observer's point of view. It's similar to our language today when we say "sunrise" and "sunset." In reality, the sun does not rise or set, but the earth rotates on its axis from west to east.

According to Leviticus 23:27 Day of Atonement is 10th Day of 7th Month. How come in verse 32, the start of afflicting the soul at evening is still reckoned as the 9th day? Or the Israelites needed to wait for the sunrise to change the day as the 10th day?

@@teesnapz5830 no, the reckoning of hours starts in the morning that's why ninth hour when the Messiah was at the cross is equivalent to 3pm today. Look at the first Passover which was at Abib 14, during Moses time, if day starts at the evening, it should have been Abib 15 which was a Sabbath and during that evening, the angels worked to slay the first born child which was not under the protection of the blood of the lamb.

@@teesnapz5830 in your cited verses, the Creator first called the Day before the Night, and there are far more verses citing day and night rather than night and day. You can't explain why the angels worked at Passover night when it was supposed to be Sabbath if the day started in the evening. In reality, it was not yet Sabbath because it starts in the morning. The first manna fell in the morning of the first day of the week, the 16th of the second month and all the leftovers were to burned the following day in the morning because there was a new batch of manna awaiting the Israelites. The first manna did not fall on the evening of the 15th day of the second month because it was not yet the first day of week. Remember that manna was used to reckon the workdays and the Sabbath.

Clearly the Sabbath starts and ends at dawn, although there was one verse in Leviticus 23:32 that the Sabbath was from evening to evening but that was not a weekly Sabbath but the Sabbath for the Day of Atonement. It is still inaccurate to state that a week begins on Sunday (on the Gregorian calendar). ISAIAH 66:23 gives us a clue on when the SABBATH (Weekly SABBATH) falls. Isaiah 66:23 - And it shall come to pass, [that] from one NEW MOON to ANOTHER, and from ONE SABBATH to ANOTHER, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. A few things that every observer of YHWH's Word/Law needs to understand about the verse above (ISAIAH 66:23) are: 1. There's a connection between a NEW MOON (1st sighting/appearance of the moon/crescent in the sky) and the Weekly SABBATH. This verse clearly indicates a closed link between the New Moon and the Weekly Sabbaths which are four (4 Sabbaths) in one complete month (moon cycle) 2. There are twelve months (moon cycles) in one (1) year and thus ISAIAH 66:23 accurately points out "from one NEW MOON to ANOTHER" where there are four Weekly Sabbaths in one month (moon cycle), and again "from one SABBATH to ANOTHER" 3. Generally, HIGH SABBATHS (MOED/MOEDIM) are not included in this verse if one might consider their occurrences compared to the WEEKLY SABBATH - MOEDIM/HIGH SABBATH occur only once a year and can't be closely link with "from one NEW MOON to ANOTHER and from ONE SABBATH to ANOTHER" as in Isaiah 66:23 In my observation we all failed God's WORD/LAW by falling for man's timeline (calendar - Gregorian and written Jewish calendars). ISAIAH 66:23 seems to confirm God's Command in GENESIS 1:14 - AND GOD SAID, LET THERE BE LIGHTS IN THE FIRMAMENT OF THE HEAVEN TO DIVIDE THE DAY FROM THE NIGHT; AND LET THEM BE FOR SIGNS, AND FOR SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS, AND YEARS: SIGNS - All three (sun, moon & stars) can be used to tell signs SEASONS - All three are involved but not so much as the MOON does DAYS - Moon is very instrumental in the counting of days especially when one gets to forget what day of the month they're on, without a written calendar. They simply look at the moon's phase and tell what day they're on. YEARS - Moon is very instrumental in determining the duration of a year Phases Of The MOON: NEW MOON (WAXING CRESCENT) - Day 1 (Holy Convocation) FIRST QUARTER - Day 7 (1/2 Moon - First Weekly SABBATH) FULL MOON - Day 14 (Full Moon - Second Weekly SABBATH) LAST QUARTER - Day 21 (Inverted 1/2 Moon - Third Weekly SABBATH) END OF MOON CYCLE (WANING CRESCENT) - Day 28 (Fourth Weekly SABBATH) - two days in hiding and cycle continues making a cycle period of 30 days. IF SABBATH IS CENTRAL TO THE COMMANDMENTS & WORSHIP OF GOD, THEN ISAIAH 66:23 MUST BE CONSIDERED WITH THE GREGORIAN AND OTHER HUMAN CALENDARS OUT THE WINDOW.

Amen! I fully agree. - *Just an observation with regards Isaiah 66:23 "from one new moon to another."* I am very certain that you are very well aware that this phrase “new moon” is wrongly translated *and is not "new moon"* - but “month” which is in harmony with Revelation 22 that refers to the same time period being in the new heaven and earth as per Isaiah 66:22. The primary meaning for the word *"new moon" (chôdesh) in the Hebrew text is actually "month"* and hence is translated as such in the Old Testament 256 times, while it is translated as "new moon" only 40 times. *And comparing the Old and New Testaments in Greek proves that the primary meaning for the Hebrew word "chôdesh" being "month" is what should have been used in Isaiah 66:23.* The Greek Old Testament the SEPTUAGINT that Christ quoted from was translated by 70-72 Jewish scholars around 300-200 BC and hence came from the most ancient and reliable manuscripts available. So, *from the Septuagint we also find that the correct translation for Isaiah 66:23 is "month" and not "new moon" since it uses the Greek word "mēn," which Strong's dictionary states only means "month." Hence the same Greek word is also used in Revelation 22:2 for "month," which is obviously correct. So according to the Septuagint, the correct translation is from month to month.* Isaiah 66:23 Septuagint "And it shall come to pass from *month to month, [mēn]* and from Sabbath to Sabbath, that all flesh shall come to worship before Me in Jerusalem, says the Lord." Revelation 22:2 KJV "In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit *every month: [mēn]* and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." Note the same monthly cycle as per Isaiah and hence the same Greek word also which means month. *The correct Greek word for "new moon" is "noumēnia."* And in Isaiah 1:13-14 below we see new moons referenced with the feasts, and hence "noumēnia" is the word used there in the Septuagint. The only place the Greek word "noumēnia" is found in our Greek New Testament is in Colossians 2:16 where it is also referenced with the feasts. Isaiah 1:13-14 Septuagint "Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the *new moons [noumēnia]* and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. 14 Your *new moons [noumēnia]* and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them." Colossians 2:16 KJV "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday [feast], or of the *new moon [noumēnia],* or of the sabbath days:" *Thus, there can be no doubt that Isaiah 66:23 should have been translated as MONTH TO MONTH in perfect harmony with Revelation 22 that refers to the same time period being in the new heaven and earth as per Isaiah 66:22.* Also, note that new moons require nights. So, is there night in heaven? According to the Bible, the answer is *NO.* “And the city had *no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it:* for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” Revelation 21:23. I believe that the phrase “moon” in this sense is based on calculating time and nothing more because there will be no night in heaven. “And *there shall be no night there;* and they need no candle, *neither light of the sun;* for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 22:5 *History confirmed that men changed the calendar, but they could not change the weekly cycle.* Throughout history kingdoms have come and gone, empires have fallen and risen but God’s Sabbath has withstood and endured Satan’s attacks. TWO institutions that God instituted at creation are constantly under attack from Satan, the Sabbath and marriage. No matter what Satan throws at humanity, both institutions will prevail. Men may change earthly constitutions, but they cannot change what God has made holy. These institutions will remain firm as long as heaven remains. God reconfirmed the Sabbath for a solid span of 40 years during the sojourn of the Israelites when they left Egypt and later in the promised land. The Sabbath was a command to determine obedience to God. [Deuteronomy 8:2-3]. Christ kept the Sabbath. Luke 4:16. The Sabbath continued to be kept of the crucifixion Luke 23:56. Paul and Barnabas preach at Antioch Acts 13:14. Gentiles kept the Sabbath Acts 13:42. Paul and his companions preached on the Sabbath at Philippi Acts 16:13. etc, etc., *JESUS’ FOLLOWERS* “And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.” Luke 23:56. Did these women make a mistake and keep the wrong sabbath or was it that *Christ NEVER EVER HINTED THAT THERE WOULD BE A CHANGE FORTHCOMING* *JESUS SAID* “But pray ye that your flight be not in winter, neither on the Sabbath day.” Matthew 24:20. *NOTE:* Jesus asked his disciples to pray that in the flight from the doomed city of Jerusalem, they would not have to flee on the Sabbath day. This flight took place in 70 A.D. 40 years after Jesus’ crucifixion and we see here that Jesus fully expected His church to be observing The true seventh-day Sabbath that He Himself proclaimed to be the Lord of. Christ said, *“It is easier for Heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the Law to fail?”* [Luke 16:17]. *Sabbath was observed from creation to modern times and will remain throughout the ceaseless ages. [Matthew 5:18,19]. *“By calculating the eclipses, it can be proven that no time has been lost, and that the creation days were seven, divided into twenty-four hours each”* (Dr. Hinckley, The Watchman, July, 1926. [Dr. Hinckley was a well-known astronomer of a half a century ago.]). *"The division of time into weeks is a singular measure of time by periods of seven days that may be traced not only through the sacred history before the era of Moshe,* but in all ancient civilizations of every era, many of which could not possibly have derived their notion from Moshe.. Among the learned of Egypt, the Brahmans of India, by Arabs, by Assyrians, as may be gathered from their astronomers and priests, this division was recognized. Hesiod (900 B.C.) declares the seventh day is Qodesh. And so also Homer and Callimachus. Even in the Saxon mythology, the division by weeks is prominent. Nay, even among the tribes of primitive worshipers in Africa, we are told that a peculiar feature of their religion is a weekly sacred day, the violation of which by labor will incur the wrath of their god. Traces of a similar division of time have been noticed among the Indians of the American continent. Now, on what other theory are these facts explicable than upon the supposition of a divinely ordained Sabbath at the origin of the race?" ("The Christian Sabbath" tract number 271, released by the Presbyterian Board of Publication.)

The Isaiah 66:23 is about the Revelation 20:2-6 *[2]And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, [3]And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. [4]And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. [5]But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. [6]Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. * ---and also read Zechariah 14...
