"Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:7, 4:8 In other words, seeking God is synonymous with seeking an ever greater capacity to love within ourselves. So, then, what is our reward for this effort? You know . . . only love. The reward is in the doing - because love is the greatest gift we can both give and receive. And why? Because GOD IS LOVE, only love. And lest we forget: Love is always unconditional. If "love" is conditional, it is not love . . . it is something else, something foul, vulgar, loathsome. Cheers.

You probably meant to focus and pray on our motives and heart behind our thoughts and actions more, since we are to cast our care upon Him

I think it's a shame that you must pay a monthly fee just to hear God's word. Very disappointed in Bethel.

Robert Morris Everything is done through the church body. Bethel is a MASSIVE church body which receives MASSIVE tithes and offerings. They are by no means experiencing a financial strain where they cannot provide GOD'S Word (emphasis on who it belongs to) to God's people without a monthly charge. Believers give through tithes and offerings, not monthly subscriptions like Netflix. Why do you think Jesus was flipping tables in the temple?!?! My issue is not with generating money for the church body, it's when they start immulating worldly economic systems that it becomes an issue. While you criticize God's people because you view them as being broke, understand that God loves the poor and the meek which is why a mega blessed organization like Bethel could and should provide the powerful infallible word of God for free considering that it's only through God's abundant grace that they can operate in the capacity that they do. God does not need worldly tactics to sustain His kingdom.

Virtuous Honey Then don't listen to or buy any of their stuff. You still have free will. But I feel that the music and teachings as well as educational material are well worth it and further the God's Kingdom. I'm sorry, but if you're so worried about money maybe you need to sell everything and follow Jesus? Where is your focus? What are you concerned about? If it concerns you that a church or pastor might make money maybe your focus is wrong? I'm not concerned about the money, God will deal with that, my concern is what is being taught and that it's solid Bible. So keep your money, you might be missing a blessing yourself.

So don't give to them. Money seems to be your issue. Because they are a big church they should give everything away. I think you should give half your money away to someone that won't work because you have more than they do, on the other hand you're probably the person who won't work and expects everything for free. Sorry, the part about Jesus in the temple, He flipped the tables because they were selling redemption that should always be free, not goods, or cd's or educational material.

Cameron Malone if you haven't noticed, I stopped responding to the last guy because he's totally lost the point of what I was saying and making it a personal attack on me and my finances which he knows nothing about. Definitely not a man of God and I didn't consider it worthy of my time. I have spent plenty of money on educational CDs, books, conferences and the like, including giving money to causes I believe in. I work for not one, but two non-profit oganizations, as well as starting one of my own. Your attempts to school me on operational budget is not only unnecessary, it is also irrelevant to the point I was making. If a church's operational costs are so high that they cannot afford to stream a sermon without a monthly fee, perhaps they need to scale back. My church has less than half the budget of Bethel and manages to do so just fine without needing to charge streaming fees but I guess that's the difference between a church operating in the faith of God's provision and one who runs it like a Fortune 500 company. To each his own. I am proud to be part of a church body who is willing and capable to stream God's infallible Word to His children free of charge, trusting and knowing God's kingdom is able to cover operational costs. God bless you and have a great day.

Cameron Malone Thank you Cameron, I appreciate your comments and input. I receive them fully. What is right for one church isn't necessarily the right thing for another in every circumstance. My heart really goes out to people who thirst for God's word but may miss out bc they don't have a credit card for a subscription and that was the angle I was coming from. I was feeling attacked for thinking of the little guy who doesn't have a credit card to whip out on demand and it weighed heavy on my heart bc people really need God's word in times like these, especially great sermons like this one! But we are part of the same body and what one church can't fulfill, God will make a way for those who are diligent in seeking Him. Sometimes it's not about what this church can do and what that one can't bc we are all part of one body and God never fails the pure in heart. Thank you for your time, mercy and kindness. May God abundantly bless you and yours!

Cameron Malone Bill's theology is based on a humanistic worldview of man and of God. So naturally he will interpret the Bible this way. I also believe that he is twisting the truth because his philosophy elevates man too much and consequently minimizes God, who will not share His glory with anyone. I highly recommend that you look into reformed theology for pure theology. Bill is not a theologian he's more of a folklorist
