I like that they can take a song from 50 years ago and make it completely new without destroying what made it so special to begin with.

As I work my way into old age, it is a constant joy that new young talent has discovered the best of the 60s and 70s, made it there own and is taking it forward. Thankyou.

I played with all the guys in The Beach Boys for decades, opened for them on a few occasions, but this is a simple cover of a complete masterpiece. In fairness, McCartney sucked on this. Brian’s voice is just something no one can cover. Several have tried and I just find it odd. But if I watched this live somewhere, I’d be thankful that generation valued it …not an easy song.

Carl sang this song. Brian wrote it with Carl’s lead vocals in mind waaaay before he passed away.

Rarely is a cover of a masterpiece also a masterpiece. This recording is an exception.

Not being a fan of the Beach Boys sound, I never realized how well written this song was.

Brian Wilson's writing, Pet Sounds, literally saved my life at 14. This has to be the most beautiful cover I have heard of this song ever. Thank you.

The Twins never miss s note Lisa is a Virtuoso on guitar. Her voice only gets better and better. She and Mona as well, immerse themselves into their craft respectively. Monas back-up vocals are heavenly and her rhythm and percussion skills are spot on. When you see the entire family performing as just little girls you understand the amazing foundation for the beautiful skilled performers today. Heaven sent

Ummm...........I am speechless. I have watched this at least a dozen times and have tried to think of an appropriate comment. I suffer from depression and anxiety and this is the best I have felt in weeks. Harmoniously spiritual, superbly sung and provided a light in my soul I Haven't felt in months. I'm finding it difficult to text my response through my tears, but my world is a much better place after hearing your Angelic voices. Thank you for sharing your gift and lifting my heart. This is the only cover of this song that does the original justice

Brian Wilson took an absolute eternity trying to get this to sound the way he wanted.The harmonies in the BB's original are complex, but MLT's version remains true to Brian's original, despite the fact there are only two of them. Guitar work was delicately handled, loved the ukulele guitar. Once again the Twins proved to be more than equal to the challenge of really doing justice to an iconic song. Well done.

I'm a big Beach Boys fan, and I've never heard this song done as beautifully as this! The great vocal harmony Mona and Lisa are capable of truly shine here. I think Brian Wilson would have been proud to hear his song so beautifully done.

Do you know what really makes this song and this video? It is Papa Rudi joining his daughters in the video. What a trio! It is like Mona and Lisa are singing directly to their Dad while he keeps his steady bass line. Papa Rudi's bass line is like the constant positive influence that he has provided to the ladies during their entire lives. Thank you to all of them, including Michaela!

In the late 60s I had that same model Hofner bass guitar. I didn't much like it, and with its soft 'plonking' tone it certainly didn't have the presence and bite of a Fender. But I have to admit that it works really well in this 1960s cover, there was a lot of good music using that less aggressive sound

I still keep coming back to listen to this song. I'm going to refer to you as the "Mona Lisa Angels" from now on.

God only knows that I wish I had a girl like you. You two are remarkable, and drop dead gorgeous to boot. All I can say is WOW!

Now wonder God made you twins! He couldn't put that much talent into one person! I love the song, THANKS!

Ladies, I have to tell you that I just came back to hear this song again, because I have had a very tragic three weeks. I lost my best friend for over forty years. We played in a band together for many years, shared so many experiences. He was in great health and we never could have imagined he would die from a pancreatitis attack, but he did. He loved this song and many others that you two have done. In fact, he was the one that told me about you. Thanks again for not only doing this song so beautifully, but thanks for being the two, beautiful, and outstanding women that you are. It is so good to see people like yourself, performing and writing songs. You two ladies have so much class. Thanks again. It's a very sad time, but I know that we will all see each other again one day.

This cover was pure magic.

Just in case nobody noticed - their talent level and musicality is off the charts. Every song they choose is transformed into something current and yet unique.

Just shows how music, regardless of which part of the world you hail from, vocals sound the same. It, like reading music.... is universal. Great version!

Listening to them is such a joy...these women are wonderful

This is the ONLY cover of this song by anybody but the Beach Boys that I can listen to. Great job, MonaLisa Twins!

And also ABBA, they were also very good at harmonising too which helped them with their record sales,after all they are now the second most successful band of all time after the Beatles and their comeback album Voyage was very successful.

Fantastic rendition of the greatest song in pop/rock history. I like 99.9 percent of it. I'd fix a note or two on the guitar whenever it progresses upward in the intro and during breaks. I'm a huge fan of your Beatles covers.

What commitment and talent, the twins were truly born to do this.

I saw the "original" Beach Boys several times [including the TAMI Show in 1964], just saw Brian Wilson in concert last year. My high school played against the Wilson brother's high school [Hawthorne High] in football and several other sports. I've been listening to them since 1962. This version is GREAT!

I asked about 5 or 6 years ago... WHEN do we get the Mona Lisa Twins to come perform in Las Vegas? I swear, these two sing darn near ALL my favorite songs from the 1960's! Who gives them these songs to play? Their Dad? Beatles and Beach Boys. And... they knock this one almost right up there with Carl Wilson, whom we all know did the best version of this EVER recorded!

The MonaLisa twins have done all the covers I did with my old band in the 90s and early 2000! Then the war came and now they are gone so its with sorrow in my heart and mixed emotions I listened to these very gifted girls! Rip Chris, Carl and Marc!

*Chilling* harmonies 😮 I've been a diehard Beach Boys fan since before I was born, and this is the first time I've ever heard God Only Knows done correctly. 99 times out of 100, performers fuck up big time while trying to cover The Beach Boys. This was very well done.
