We were living at a small town back then so there were no place to buy ps2 games. I think I was 12 years old when I first met with Kratos ❤️

I felt an immense satisfaction watching the trailer. I’ve waited a long time for this and now I have it. This will scratch the itch

I can’t get over how versatile they are making the combat, there are going to be so many moves you can do and the story looks like it is over the top in depth. This will probably be one of the best games of all time.

I have so many little theories going through my head, I swear to God. The necklace, Tyr holding the blades, the Valkyries saying "pretendant God FOR the all-father" (implying that this God is working for Odin), but the thing that takes the cake for me is the mural at 1:40 in your video. We see Yggdrasil and the 9 realms attached to it with their hierarchy. What stands out the most is that Jotunheim is marked by a cross, like it was eliminated, and that checks out based on what we learned in GoW 2018, but it's not the only marked realm: We can see that Midgard and Alfheim are crossed as well, implying that they faced a similar fate to Jotunheim. Is at that point when Tyr goes above all realms with the wolves and travels somewhere else (maybe going back in time?). Man this has SO MUCH INFO

Having a lot of thoughts on that supposed Odin scene, I don’t think that’s Odin. I think that could be Njord. Maybe he talks to Atreus and gives him that necklace and later when we face freya and has Atreus at her mercy, she recognizes that necklace and is no longer our enemy. Just my thought or theory

The neckless is made from the mistletoe arrowhead that Atreus used to remove Baldur's curse in the last game. Freya is probably so shocked and upset that he is wearing the object that resulted in her son's death, or may be reminded of what happened to her when she sees it and could stop hurting Atreus out of realising she is hurting another innocent boy, or she may just hurt him more in her anger and grief. And the man we see seems similar to the leaked Odin design and it makes more sense that Odin would hunt them down to talk to Atreus rather than Njord who would have no idea where they were .

I hope so. I saw the spoiler art of odin. Someone said the Loki and Odin made a blood pact in mythology. Something tells me Odin is going to trick Atreus into thinking there is a way to prevent Ragnarok.

@@soldiergigas14 Oh definitely. The thing is, I think it will play out similar to the mythology but with its own twist in how it gets there. Odin was certain he'd won after imprisoning Loki and his children, but all he did was enrage Loki and make him want revenge and give him somewhere to direct that anger. I think the same will happen with Atreus, Odin in trying to manipulate Atreus will end up pushing him to start Ragnarok and will make Atreus WANT to start it with how the Aesir treat him and Kratos. Odin’s arrogance is meant to bring about his end, and I'm guessing if he had just left Kratos alone it wouldn't have come to this.

@@lilchaos9212 even though Kratos always taught Atreus to kill only in seld defence, this is technically what it is. Kratos simply wanted a normal life with his new family and Atreus wants to stop Ragnarok. But Odin had to send his sons and grandsons to kill them both. In the trailer, it can be said that Odin is trying to undermine and gaslight Kratos over his change of heart that he is still the monster god killer from Sparta. In the end, the mad raven will get what he $#@&ing deserves even Mimir called him a covetous tyrant that needs to be stopped.

of course they're starting Ragnarok Mimir's wisdom: "a battle you start on your time table is a battle they better stand winning"

It makes sense. Everything up till now has been Odin, behind the scenes, pulling the strings and manipulating everything for himself. They need to take that control from him. That's why in the original myths he imprisoned Loki and his children, to stave off Ragnarok, so it makes sense in this version he wants Loki and to manipulate and push him so he'll do what Odin wants when he wants it done without realising.

Man the combat animation and the moves are the best thing I have saw like he can grapple foes like his old ways from the prequel parts. Plus the fact that they started ragnarok and the fact that Tyr teams up as allies is the best. The goosebump was the most shocking is Kratos and Thor clashing against one another like 2 Titans clashing for their world.

This trailer gave me a will to live

I love Kaptain Kuba's reaction here...It seemed like it was just the controller trailer for God Of War and then Sony delivers a Trailer we have anticipated for several 'Winters'. It is truly a spectacular experience. Sony captivates us entirely for 3 minutes imagine the magnitude of emotions we will experience playing the Game. I cannot wait. Sony should just release this game on 7 November 2022. It will be the best gift for my birthday, It is just a difference of 2 days which is fine anyways. I will imagine that I am visiting each of the 9 Realms from 1 November 2022. 😉

Sooo… Not sure if anyone else caught this… The trailer brought up an interesting point. Almost all Mythological Pantheons have a “Faith Based Power Level”, meaning the more followers a god has, the more powerful they are or something similar…. Presuming that’s how it works in the God of War Universe, does that mean we’ve only ever seen “Base Level Kratos” (**Magic Toys++)?!

This trailer is very revealing! They know of Kratos from the stories told by the gods. "Pretender god... Birth of your father" - Valkyries "What do you know of godhood... Have you ever been worship... could you imagine that much love"- Tyr(Edit: supposedly this is Odin speaking). They don't know Kratos was a full blown god when he was younger that received worship & love, praise from his worshipers. Kratos also experienced all of godhood (sitting on throne after killing Ares) and lost it all as well(GoW2 when Zues kills Kratos, after he seen Zues killing "almost" all his worshipers his final words was "you will pay..." . Kratos experienced all of godhood and lost most of what the Nordic deities considered godhood. None the less Kratos is still a God-Titan hybrid. The rage mode of GoW 2018 and GoW Ragnarok the fire aura in rage mode is the same as "Rage of The Titans" the only difference is Kratos isn't molten lava.

It's like you read my mind, i agree. Kratos was worshipped by sparta. When Zeus destroyed sparta in gow 2, The last spartan soldier said "people begged for their God(kratos) to save them(from Zeus) but you would not come". It means Odin doesn't know everything about Kratos. And yes the rage of the titans looks like the rage of sparta in the new games those were my thoughts too.

@@thabangsibanda3282 The Norse deities basically only know Kratos for wiping out a Pantheon and to them he did it for no reason. They don't know his side of the story they only know him from the Gods perspective(Zues, Poseidon, Hades). This trailer also made me think of when Faye was arguing with the gaints because of her plan. I guess the gaints knew of Kratos and disapprove of him because they just see him as destruction, the end of everything.

@@Revan-eb1wb I think he's going to find out from someone else forcing Kratos to tell him his whole story. I also think Kratos will be at war with the Vanir deities as well because they'll just see him as a "uncontrollable variable" that has to go.

They made a HUGE mistake revealing the fact that we're gonna be finding Tyr. That should've been kept a secret like the Blades Of Chaos

The trailer and the reaction to the trailer is totally amazing, can't wait to get cracking at the game.

I remember watching it and one that figure was shown after Loki opened the door the subtitles had Odin in the subtitles and then to what he was talking about so it's Odin
