Kratos getting the most Spartan looking weapon in Midgard is delightful. Where the blades of chaos were a great call back to the older games the spear is a greater call back to Kratos before his pact to Ares.

It’s also pretty much the only weapon he’s ever had made for him, by a friend. I’m upset we didn’t get Mjolnir, but I think the acquisition and nature of the spear is much more suiting for Kratos’s character than killing another god for a new tool like in the past.

So glad with how it turned out. Kratos not wielding Mjolnir was not disappointing to me, especially when you see who does eventually wield it by the end. Draupnir was awesome because it blended the two mythologies together by taking a Norse magic heirloom and making a Greek weapon of war. Just fantastic.

If you guys get the Trophy but not the last Gale Flame Upgrade it’s not glitched it’s because after you capture the Worms you still have to stick your hand back into the rift hole to close it. This is how I got the last flame. Turns out the Squirrel didn’t finesse us after all! 😅

I made sure to loot the realm tears after each one, and even went back to each spot to make sure. I have the trophy but no rewards for the quest, no gale spark and no lindwyrm scales. Wtf?!?

Yeah I feel like the combos are much quicker especially if you mix with the r1 r2 combo and do the sideswipes 😂😂

The fully leveled up spear with the charging assault sauoter looks awesome and is pretty powerful when leveled up

Barehanded is super OP in this game you just don’t have the skill tree which is what I think you’re referring to. But if you use the set from Lunda it upgrades your barehanded so much, reducing enemy levels and doing extra poison damage to the point it will even melt berserkers. Way more damage than any weapon

The element siphoning of the spear is too op

The spear feels a bit meh and a novelty, until you start making your way through its skills and find the runic attacks for it. The elemental sIphon II skill is a game changer, I wish I'd known about that skill before the Heimdall fight, the spear quickly became my favourite as well.

If you're missing a gale flame revisit the linworm locations. all of them. even though you completed The Lost Lindwyrms quest you didn't collect all of the flames from them. so just revisit them and see which one you missed.

I’ve heard there is a glitch where a lot of people are getting stuck on level 8 with no way to max out their weapons. They said it was related to, if you have a glitched weapons tab in the shop that perpetually shows a notification question mark that means you can’t max weapons. But I also don’t know anyone who doesn’t have a glitched weapon’s tab. At least one guy said they resolved it by going to the crucible. Did you ever figure it out or are you still glitched?

I've alredy done The Phantom mission on Vanaheim, Defeated all Bersekers, delivered all lindwarms and still missing one Gale Flame. What I've done wrong? I've checked on diarie, but missions are done.

Me seeing all these boss fights while I play it on give me god of war. It's going to be a tough road ahead.

You can beat fire boss twice to get 8 and 9 in vanahiem I just went to the jungle then came back real quick and the flame phantom was there again and I beat him again and then again and now I’m level 9 and I got an extra gale flame it’s annoying the black smith chick keeps saying stuff about upgrading my spear everyone I go up to her I think it’s a bug but I’ve noticed a couple of bosses do it like the raven keeper responds after defeated.

What do i do if i dont have that last mystic gate way in svartalfheim am i just screwd

I’ve seen these headstones but had no clue how to activate them or what they actually did.

how much more damage does it do? like how can you tell the levels really make a difference? is there a boss thats super hard without the extra damage? im trying to understand the reason for the weapon upgrades. maybe its necessary on harder difficulties?

Gn’a, the Valkyrie queen. She’s quite hard if ur equipment isn’t leveled up. There’s also king Harolf (king of the berserkers). Also in higher difficulties (like no mercy), getting weapon upgrades is important bcz u cant even defeat normal enemies sometimes. What difficulty are u playing at?

The upgrades are for overall stats you get the spear to 9 you get a huge cool down stat for just carrying it

Does anyone else have the Spear visuals at weapon level 8-9 really bugged? There is supposed to be a gold Greek pattern clearly visible on the cloth at level 8-9, which shows up when I view it in the gear menu but whenever I exit the gear menu it's not there.

Same. I think it's probably a bug because when I go to the forge to upgrade weapons it says I have an upgrade for my weapons. But when I look there is nothing there. Sucks cause I'm one of max level for my character

Ok just figured out the problem. You gotta back track and look for yggdrasil tares on your map. You might of forgotten afterwards after getting the beast to grab into the rift again for the reward

@@jacksonbennetts6033 I had the same probelm I had to go back and check every portal turns out I forgot to grab the stuff out of the very first portal by the forge after I got the worm u have to go back and pull out the flame pieces after u pull the worm out yall must have just forgot by acident to pull them out

I didn't get a gale flame after returning all of the worms to the squirrel

It only gave me 5 sparks for doing that lynworm shit

I found out how to get to level 10

i did everything and my spear is level 8

The bosses fpr the 2nd fight are fucking impossible I had to switch to the easiest difficulty and still cant even get to galf health what the fuck is this boss fight
