Seeing Kratos hugging and telling Atreus goodbye and then being moved into tears becoming a beloved God brought me to tears. If this is truly the end of Kratos’ story, I have no complaints, because you couldn’t have a better ending than that

From God of War to God of Peace. What a great character development

Seeing them hug and Kratos crying at the panel of him depicted as a god that everyone loves had me absolutely wailing, one of the greatest endings I’ve seen in a long time

isn't it funny we saw a kratos as odin fan art with a spear about a year ago and that ended up being the ending?

All those years of torment, pain, nightmares of his deceased family. Kratos can finally rest in peace knowing the people he cares about are safe. He is free from his sufferings.

Sindri coming out of nowhere and smashing the orb with Odin’s soul was unintentionally hilarious.

It’s just so amazing how they were able to show so much of Sindri’s grief in a short time frame. Especially the part where Kratos try’s to comfort him seeing as he know the best about what’s going through Sindris head, because at the end of it all he made it so he wouldn’t be able to see his brother after he dies see as he took his own brother afterlife. You can see it perfectly when he looks at Kratos, first anger, In his mind Kratos is “at fualt” just as much as Atreus. Surprise because Kratos looks ay him not with any anger or with his normal scowl but understanding. Then grief and sadness return with a little bit of acceptance

"a hole, gets bigger the more you take away" holy shit what a way to end this storyline. Sindri already had a hole in his life from his brother's death and losing part of his soul and now Brok is completely gone and that hole in his life is only gotten bigger. Fucking genious writing.

I love how Odin creates a new binding spell instantly after freya made it seem like such an impressive thing.

My dad passed away this year. I remember playing all of the god of wars on the psvita with him, played this game for him and immediately bawled my eyes out with kratos. I wish my father was here to see the end of his story too.

The "Loki will go, Atreus remains" had the same impact as iron giant.

I cried. Kept thinking of my kid the whole time. The thought of her growing up and leaving to her own path just made this ending unbelievably touching.

I lived long enough to see Kratos smile and be at peace. I can die happy now.
