From what I know, there is a chance Kratos has changed his name in order to forget his past. It says in the novel that he was called Farbauti by the giants and probably by Faye as well. Keep in mind, his name was never mentioned at all by the Norse gods. The only one who did was Zeus from the illusion in Helheim.

That line is already loaded with context. And the performance by Chris Judge makes it even better. Kratos voice almost cracks almost as if he’s begging his son to not repeat the mistakes he made.

Until now I had not actually played the game , only seen the E3 presentation where atreus shoots the arrow but ends up hitting kratos So when that scene came up , where atreus jumps and shoots the arrow and the music and image gets cut I just got outta my chair like " woooah !!!!
