    >briefcases >he means bidnes Let's get it. 0:44 Wouldn't have worked in GoW:A (best entry with safest, strongest and most useful t0). He would have clapped you. 0:54 Got the attention just in time. 1:48 Hey man, nice shot. NOTE: At least this prick won't be amped. 2:04 Stranger danger averted. 3:18 **stammers in Japanese** H-He's fast! 5:02 Bit dicey here. 5:11 >the fake outs We take those. 5:28 >fell off >off-screen Where did he go? **cue the X-files theme** 5:38 "I'm back." - Arnie 6:39 Ouch. Was wondering where the hit would come from. Better you than them. 6:48 Zibbity Zap, right on the ass. 7:16 What a two-fer. >double Regret finish Don't see those all that often. Triple means you were asking for trouble (like yours truly). 7:48 A pity some death delaying means to make time for an Agony ground OS was out of the question. Would have been a delightful finish. No matter.

    >briefcases I could have replaced those unsightly things (for me) with the Blades, but this would have gotten rid of the hurtbox oddity (for some reason). So I wanted to replicate a normal experience (if costumes could be used on VH) as much as possible, since this oddity is present on consoles. >most useful t0 Hotel approves. >clapped me Why? Hotel says it's safe, so it must be true. Same as when he told me (prior to playing that title) that OH redirection was a thing in GoWII. >won't get amped Pretty sure a single bolt would kill the family. I wouldn't even bother if that was the case. Would be far too unreasonable even in a normal NUR+/PAIN. >X-Files Nostalgia (for the tune). >the hit Good thing it was only ONE of the multi hits. Quick slash = game over if it lands. Think everything else deals 80DMG at minimum (40/40 for the multi hit cases of non-Regret spawns). >better me than them They would be dead if that had landed on them, yes. >FINISH HIM (Agony) I was too focused on actually finishing this luck based fight to bother doing that. Note: Did you see the NGR+ NUR+ tactics? Think you'd feel good about Arty being actually useful for this kind of run. I actually could clear the third pool without TAS or save states, so this is definitely doable without TAS precision. You might be seeing an actual winning attempt from Zim, or me (or both), in the next couple of days. That was without family heals (that's a grab). For practice, I allowed heals, but not grabs against anyone else, and I could win like this. So it's just a matter of playing well and not letting the family get slapped around too much. Note 2: Some more comments to go until I'm able to get back to you (on every comment). Note 3: I see that you're interested in reading 'Invincible'. Let me know how that goes, if you want to go for it.

@@MrWright >could have And probably should have. >removes the costume specific issue Right, right. >Hotel approved More than that, endorsed (like the Chosenites). I ended up lightly looking into the matter further. In the same timeframe, it is indeed the case they were involved in Sicily as they were in Spain. They went by a few names (Phoenicians and even Carthage **arch-enemy of Rome**). All the same people traveling through the same body of water from the same starting point (with the same human sacrifice antics). Anyway, they betrayed their host, got them invaded by Muslims, ended up getting the same ultimatum and those in the region my family come from include the many surnames used by them before converting away from that faith. >single bolt kill from full health on fam >if they had scaling Would have to refer to that guide of yours, eh? >for the tune And really only that. The show kept things safe and stayed away from real conspiracies (with truth to them). >good thing it wasn't a double Though I don't think that jails. >see NGR+ NUR+ TAS hypothetical Backlog still. >might see the real thing shortly >you or Zim Neat. >few more to go before the mass reply Right, right. SBK got back to me (26). A few things have gone done since then. Good luck to me with updating, while trying to prune things down. >how that goes Some of the things I hear about it suggest I'll disagree with the writing here and there. We shall see. That will probably be after I make myself finish YYH.

@@BigVEE >should have Probably. At the end of the day, I know it's still a meme run, but still wanted to replicate a console experience. >endorsed You're not wrong. >looked into the matter further Good thing that we're able to know these truths even now. >Phoenician Never heard of this. If I didn't know any better, I'd ask you if you were making a pun with my username of choice. >betrayed their host How unlike them. >my guide Most of the contents is thanks to you. Also, yes, it's indeed 5DMG. 5x20 = 100. Instant kill. Dreadful. >show kept things safe Oh. I see. So you have seen this, huh? >doesn't jail You're right, it doesn't. >NGR+ NUR+ TAS The vids were carried by TAS to get that far, but the vids themselves are done by me. Wouldn't have been able to record anything desirable with TAS with so many desyncs. If you want to see the full thing entirely done by me (but with a DQ **family healing**), here you go: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dYOmy8xyiMbPdNo.htmlsi=amnRHsJD4vzIsRX4 The hypothetical vids only serve (at this point) to explain the rationale behind the tactics used. Basically mini guides. The link above also includes the first pool (something I didn't cover in any of the vids, because I hadn't found a semi reliable way to handle this). >me or Zim Or both. >SBK got back to you So it's likely a few weeks before he'll be able to get back to me. >good luck Indeed. >disagree with the writing I see. For some reason I'm interested in this. First time I've been genuinely interested in a comic (excluding manga). >make yourself Is it that bad for you?

@@MrWright >faithful to the real deal Admirable. >not wrong Meanwhile I reject them down to my very blood. It is very possible he's just among the fools that covets the success born of evil many of their ilk enjoy while I stomach relation to S to the C to the U to the M very much the villains of the tale of time. It is not just in our GoW prowess we differ. >good thing For those willing and able to listen, yes. For what little good it does. One takes what one can get. >making a pun Hadn't even occurred to me, frankly. Phoenix is not native to Greek, but then neither are Juden. As they are in many nations, the nomads in permanent (self-imposed **well-earned**) exile (losing even their own genealogy proof thanks to fucking with the wrong one **Hadrian crushed their people and history so severely they cannot even prove who they are beyond a certain point, but not finishing them in that moment is a huge mistake as it allows pretenders to just say 'dude trust me' while keeping on as they were after his passing to try their luck with another**). I never looked into the origin of the name Phoenix nor even Phoenician. I may have mentioned it already, but Greeks say Persians descend from Perseus, but what do the actual people in question believe? What do they call themselves? Often people do not consider these details at all. Recently I took a gander at a variety of things. Some small. Others not. Left field even. Seven is considered holy, divine and perfect in association with the cycle of God (in making creation). Six is imperfect (man **and the beast**). There is much I could say on this, but something I wish to look into (that I have not just yet) is why then the pentagram exists (merely five-sided). The numerology dorks are Hasidic. Big time occultists believing in curses, charms and all manner of magical nonsense (especially to do with blood sacrifice of children). I imagine it traces back to them. Thing is, I don't see why it would be a 'Hexagram' knowing how they normally rep these things (they worship Saturn **Cronos** owing not just to his ties to child-devouring/sacrificing, but the planet has a six-sided storm at the South Pole if I recall correctly). The 5-pointed star is strange to me as it shouldn't be used for what it is, so I wish to know if is merely some weird distraction (the Punic name for Saturn is "Remphan" **also known as Moloch or the Devil**) or if another meaning adequately explains it. Let's check something. **does so** Persians called themselves Irani (Aryans). Neat. Like how the Greeks say they are white (while olive complexion), yet those to the North are not (referred to as 'blondes'). For reference, Egyptians had the some look as Greeks (before invasion of Muslims **especially in what would become Turkey, where Saint Nick is from before being called an anagram for the adversary meaning 'cinder' and 'victory of the people' without clarify whose group precisely in this usurping of Christ's celebration being combined with Saturnalia**). To remind, Iraq was Babylon in its past. Name changes sure are a bother. Anyway, Greeks apparently mistook the matter via a place called Pars/Persis (used to be run by them). The more you know. As for the creature, it is Egyptian (like Sphinx). The word is a Greek term for scarlet (dark red). What of the people? Greeks again. Dubbed them as such for the production of purple (apparently close enough to be titled after the term **not for rebirth with a new identity hiding their pasts**). But the truth is that these people came from Tyre in South Lebanon (part of old 'Israel'). They were the 'Asher'. What did they call themselves? Glad you asked. Canaanites. What a choice to make! That's who I want to be associated with. But their cover story is a good one. It is also a term of that dye (again). Neat. NOTE: While blue makes sense for Zim giving his roots, it seems my preference for purple makes sense (though I know not your preference, it seems you've already throw your lot in with mine without meaning to do so **I wager**). Those people (through their consistent trade) became synonymous with "merchant" activity (like those born with the mark of Cain). Much simpler would be the people of Carthage who just called themselves Phoenicians. Two sides with the one that matters more being those that are 'Tyrian'. Merely another coincidence it is similar to tyrant (means 'rock'). The place itself is just a term for 'new town' (I see that in certain areas around me, as it happens). Lazy, really. Anyway, the portion of Sicily concerning my father's side is Palermo (Panormos **all port**) with a section named after a wife (later executed as an extreme divorce measure) with a name bastardizing an Italian area, but we can discuss all that another time. I've got to get back to Zig, so let us wrap this up sooner rather than later. You can probably guess what people took that zone over (before being throw out on their asses **if not killed or converted**). I'm on a tight timeframe before he gets himself into trouble in VH PAIN+ (GoWII). Not sure how realistic it is for me to push through all the content he put up (with commentary) before that inevitability. Though I must take a quick gander about the pentagram (famous for DOOM above all). Seems to have been proposed for the US flag around the time certain types were gaining powers as bankers (and the "J" was invented in the prior year). Symbol of fame seekers. Supposedly a charm against evils before inversion (implying a curse embracing them instead). Linked to Venus (my hated goddess **Aphrodite who ties into Hermaphrodites in her infidelity with the jobber Hermes to produce the likes of Ricky's favorite people though of a natural blend in this case**). Relatively recent invention (to use it this way). The old version was around the time of Kabbalah types, sure, but it was Crowley (fake name) that made it what it is now. Doesn't appear to be one of them, but learned from them (while teaching another part of an order seeking to wipe out Europeans **typical**). >unlike them They only have over 1K incidents by their own count (in just Europe **in just one millennia**, is all. No reason to put your guard up. >contents Don't sell yourself short. No need to be that humble. >seen this I have some familiarity from my youth, yes. >carried by I'm aware. Fairly sure you explained elsewhere, so I took note of that. >link >unlisted practice session (one of a few) Into the backpocket it goes. I'm well aware of the intent. It is what I would do to explain how I might go about something I cannot pull off myself. A hypothetical path to victory for one capable of making it work (if I still did recordings). >still working on pool 1 Bit of a mess, is it? >few weeks It'll take me about that long to get back to him. You should be able to fit in during the downtime just fine. I'll just be chipping away little by little, but right now Zig is taking priority with his ongoing run (and likely need for help **and stated want**).

    >interested It has aspects of promise, but there are definitely calls I feel I will have strong opposition to. Regarding comics (even graphic novels), it has been awhile for me. I think the last may have been Irredeemable and Incorruptible. Prior, Watchmen (and before that 300). As for actual, true blue comics? Maybe Batman vs (Spawn or Predator). Really wasn't my bag. The comics in the house were sealed away (as collectibles). I think I may have seen one scrap between Venom and Spiderman (I only cared for the former). Later I would hear of these tales through JaG, but I've zero interest in reading them myself even now. Wiki coverage (more than) suffices. >that bad Caught on to the wording, eh? While I was interested in the parts NOT covered by the anime, I find most of the bits that are a chore to work through. The art is womanly (easy to see how fujos latch on to the characters), sometimes goofier than necessary (the gag depiction of the bat in Genkai's forest stands out as beyond AT in terms of silly), the fights are not all that well depicted, he's more inconsistent than AT with complex details (Hiei was done dirty with his first showing in about every possible way **horrible start** including a dead end, dropped form **reminds of the low point of Miura was Guts being poorly represented during the first go of Black Swordsman versus a retrospective on what would make sense for him later** with randomly placed eyes adding/dropping their count and even shifting positions). I expect business to pick up again when I get to more bits of significant departure. While the anime added things of its own, it excluded aspects, too. For the things covered in both, I've yet to prefer the source's version of about anything. I don't dig the random panels spent on things not happening in the story. These quirks of the author don't jive with me. More and more I am confident I wouldn't like HxH (even setting aside the 'best' parts I've seen and the coverage about the MC from Plague). People give the guy too much credit (like AT). His editor pushed him to cut the ghost stories. Got him to the the tournament (the author dragged his feet for what is his best **by far**). I bet the anime does it far, FAR better, too. What I saw of the end was PATHETIC. Of course, the portion NOT covered by the anime (especially censored material) will win by default (and be worth reading). Frankly, that leaves A LOT to not enjoy going through. Just how it has to be as I spot differences (things missing between the two, altered, done better **more likely worse**, etc.). Just seeing the 'spirit detective items' immediately stunk (knowing full well he wouldn't get all of them nor did ANY of them pan out as more than a one-shot wonder of minimal use). His influence from DB is noticeable (as with Hiei doing a Vegeta **hopping the SB**). I wonder if the anime (Toei) copied YYH by having Vegeta do the 'Ray Gun' (Spirit Gun) a few times only for DECADES later Super has Vegeta do one in a manga (just not a proper technique yet **though it is a Spirit Gun complete with the training to do it called 'spirit control'**). Even in canon, his first move really is called "Garlic Gun" (Ocean has him scream "FIRE" like he's got you up against the wall and commands his squad poised to execute you). That predates the 'gun' of the green delinquent. Mind you, Dodonpa is really what that is (even older still). NOTE: Checked. TOEIgeta did it a year earlier. Never mind. Vegeta is the daddy of Yusuke, Hiei, etc.
