I had PTSD about church and it being all about the money... my wife dragged me to church Easter 2012. In worship this song "we are orphans no longer"... suddenly I was in an open vision, I was standing next to Jesus by the sea of Galilee, he looked at me and said, "I have made you sons but they are making you orphans"... I immediately knew I was in the part of the Gospel of Matthew where the leaders asked Peter if Jesus pays the Temple Tax... I found the passage, read it and was blown away... Jesus DOESN'T ANSWER the question - He went straight to the heart of the Jewish Religion - that God was King and all the Jews did was in relationship to God as King. The Jews Thithed because God was King... and Jesus says "from whom do Kings collect taxes, from their sons or from others"... "then the Sons are exempt" the SONS ARE EXEMPT. Wow. I was blown away. Still am...
