REALLY needed to hear this today....... A friend I considered very dear to me stopped talking to me almost a year now. And although my alcoholism ( at that time) absolutely contributed to that result, I was saddened that my attempts at making an amends went nowhere. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to face and deal with. I trust God. I'm 10 months sober. I always pray for him and his family. I just had to accept that God's in control and move on. Not to mention, my relationship with Jesus SKYROCKETED. HE IS MY EVERYTHING. So, for anyone reading this and it resonates, just know, our failures mold out characters. Don't focus on the failure or be depressed about it. God knows what we don't. Trust God. Friendships may mend in time. They may not. Keep focused on Jesus and be the light of the world. Your past IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. CARRY ON. 🙏🏼✝️👑💖🔥🕊️⚔️🎺🙏🏼
