I usually watch the sermons online from Maryland but today I was in Houston and made it my business to visit the church in person. I felt God's presence the moment I stepped in the sanctuary. Praise & Worship was great and the message was right on time. It was a great reminder that God is ALWAYS good even when life isn't. Praise God! Thank you to Pastor Flowers for the biblically-backed teaching and the entire staff and volunteers for making me feel welcomed. I will visit again.

I visited from Upstate NY 2 years ago. It was a blessing to be there. If I were to move to Texas, this will be my home church . I’ve been following Jerry since around 2019-2020.

Everything I have been reading, and listening and studying on in the last two weeks has been the Joy of the Holy Spirit. Every time I think God is telling me to move onto a different topic, he is sending me sermons, scriptures, and podcasts on His joy. Thank you for listening to His voice and spreading His word. Thank you for speaking truth in the pulpit when so many in today’s church steer away from it. Thank you for being the Lords vessel. God keeps bringing me back to your messages and I am so thankful for it. I keep sharing your videos with friends and family bc it’s too good not to share. I am praying for you, your family, church, and Texas while you recover from the storms. God always wins, and He always has a plan even when we don’t understand it. ❤❤

I think there’s a pressure of being young and successful. I’m really doing my best to trust Him and not watch others moving ahead of me or running past me and get discouraged. It’s almost like when I desire to just have joy in Him alone, there’s a pressure to be ambitious. Not saying I condone laziness because you can also be busy yet nothing that you’re doing is pleasing to God, it’s just challenging to be still and wait. But God is still good and I trust that He’ll come in my neighborhood…
