“God, Guns, and Sedition: Far-Right Terrorism in America” with Bruce Hoffman and Jacob Ware
The CSIS International Security Program welcomes Bruce Hoffman and Jacob Ware for a talk on God, Guns, and Sedition: Far-Right Terrorism in America. They will explore the rise of far-right terrorism in the U.S. and how to counter it, discussing violent extremists' use of communications technology, embrace of leaderless resistance, infiltration and recruitment of military and law enforcement, and relationships with mainstream political ideas.
This virtual conversation will be moderated by CSIS senior vice president and ISP director, Dr. Seth G. Jones. Hoffman and Ware’s book, God, Guns, and Sedition unpacks the history and modern contours of white supremacist and anti-government violence in the U.S. and beyond.

I think this is an excellent summation of this video and likely the book they are advertising. Considering CSIS is supposed to be a think tank, not an echo chamber, I would definitely call this presentation a flop. Nearly an hour of my life I will never get back.

This is total and absolute garbage. There is no credible threat from the so called far right at present. To the extent that small isolated groups and their comical mili t ias exist half their membership consists of undercover federal agents. A more credible set of threats lies in the far left which has hijacked all federal agencies with psrticulsr emphasis on the federal justice system federal intel and law enforcement and education. This allows the formation and immunity of organizations such as Antifa and BLM. The formatikn of criminal ga gs and the destruction of the inner core of large cities. The havoc wreaked by the two organizations cited above was epic prior to the 2020 elections and went virtually unpunished. Yet the FBI moved heaven and earth to fiscover arrest and prosecute those who were present at the capitol building on Jan 6. These individuals SHOULD have been charged with disturbing the peace and criminal trespass. Instead they were charged with insurrection and received unreasonable punishment. The Antifa rioters looters killers and thugs who attacked federal and stare buildings and burned out substantial portikns of several large cities received virtually no punishment and in fact the head of the FBI said they were impossible to fi d because... ANTIFA WAS AN IDEA NOT AN ORGANIZED MOVEMENT. Really. Really truly?

If you own a gun, if you believe in God, if you vote for a conservative politician, if you think the current immigration situation is intolerable, if you believe in the sanctity of life, if you think our elections need some changes, if you say our public school systems are a wreck, if you say our government needs to stay out of our personal business and any of a dozen or more other things, you are FAR RIGHT. Just putting the [first month, day after the fifth] next to people who judge based on the color of someone's skin, not the content of their character, reveals the content of your character. The leader of one of the organizations involved is of Hispanic origin and has brown skin. Then, trying to establish a connection with OKC, when the only device that day was planted by a captial police officer. Broadly associating Christianity with hate groups is paradoxical, laughable, and in contradiction with the First Amendment. Finally, if you want to live in a society without guns, immigrate to another society. That's your right. If CSIS wants any shred of credibility, balance this out with a study of BLM, ANTIFA, and the other paid activists who are the enemies of the Constitution / United States of America.
