Colonel Saunders was in debt when he had to sell his kentucky fried chicken restaurant when he was 65. For a time he had to live on welfare to help him survive. But he then began to franchise his chicken and made a fortune and gave much away.

Handouts and developmental aid is another and the list is long. We need to learn to fish and not depend on the fish sent to us. Good political leadership provide the right environment for entrepreneurship to flourish. God gives us Power to get wealth . Deut 8:18. This statement from God is true even in bad political leadership. The wealthy do not become wealthy by handouts or because they are saved. They work, put in correct efforts( power to get wealth) in the right way, right place and direction. Interestingly, this does depend on your effort and not whether your are a saved Christian . Just look at China.

I tell you, never heard of this ever before. Over the last 6 months I started to practice. Went hard like moving a rock in the beginning. I did all this before but never with this attitude and I really needed the proof of the Bible. Now it slowly makes sense. Thank you. Yes, be patient, but it comes back. Getting something for nothing is an interesting concept. Like forcing people to work for you without compensation and then get a subsidy when they no longer work for you.

I agree with you. Enslaving and taking land from others is wrong. Benefiting from.someone elses work (slavery) and denying folks access to a better surrounding (redling) is wrong. Governments have done this for decades and need to pay. Some of us need to research our history before talking about who shouldn't be compensated. Did Andrew talk about the Japanese when they were compensated? Did he mention the Native American for their compensation? Why mention the Blacks only? And before the Jews left Egypt they didn't leave empty-handed.

Yes, I agree w/ the concept that Andrew Wommack is teaching, re getting something for nothing. I also agree w/ the writer, during slavery, that was the ultimate the slave masters was getting something for nothing. The slaves wasn't paid for their labor, & yes slaveowners & their families has been prosperous on the back 9f the black slaves that worked w/ out getting compensated for it. Giving to the homeless for nothing is ungodly?? The word of God says give to the poor and expect nothing back, Mr sanders is 100% right the only thing I would add is we should give to the poor , the widows etc if we are in the situation of blessings , we cannot serve God and money , remember Jesus had no where to lay his head and the apostle paul says he knew how to go with and to go without poverty is not a sign of a curse there are plenty of God filled people in desperate poverty who are filled with the power of God more then prosperity teachers who chase 💰, 🙏

My reality is not just part of my thinking it’s also the fact I chose to raise my own children and I’m a single mother with my ex husband and ex partners left me had affairs etc so that means I can’t work full time and earn as much as others. I chose not to put my kids in the childcare system to be raised by strangers. So I had to go with out to have my children. When are the single mums who sacrificed their lives for kids going to be blessed more ? I give to charities to children who are disabled for their medical treatments and much more. And I’ve had people steal thousands is dollars from me.

The person that had a problem with what Andrew said about San Francisco giving $5 million in reparations completely missed this teaching and the scripture he shared. It makes me wonder if that person is born again because as they were typing the spirit inside them should have been screaming STOP. Your thinking is contrary to the word of God. No race of people has been more savaged than the Jews yet they are prospering because they look forward and not behind

I put my hands to my rescue group and to selling online and have not seen growth. I pay tithe and am a giver. Not sure why I have not prospered but I want to grow.

I've been tremendously blessed by Andrew Wommack's ministry for years. However, I don't agree that it's wrong to get quick riches. That is a very general statement and it depends on WHO receives the windfall and the HEART of the one who receives it. The Bible also talks about the guys who had the talents (coins) and the one who invested his talents pleased his lord and received a good return. My husband and I have invested in something and are about to receive an incredible return. We have already put together a long list of everyone and every source we plan to bless along with anonymously blessing those who will have no idea who it's from and will ONLY be able to give the glory to God. So it's not always wrong to gain wealth quickly, but it IS wrong (in my opinion) to teach that it's wrong without knowing the heart of the one who prayed for quick wealth and invested properly in order to get a return in order to bless others.

Investment is not getting something for nothing. Andrew invests actually. He never taught that investment is wrong. He's against welfare when you are absolutely capable of working. He's also against gambling, lottery, communism ie taking from the rich and giving it to people who wouldn't work for a living. If an investment your husband and you has made brings you a great returns, I think that's a blessing from God (unless you've invested in something wrong).

If communism is ungodly, then why did Paul say "At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. How about taking from the poor and giving it to the rich!

If you don't love money you'll have none and then they ask for offerings, the love of mamon the demon of greed is the root of all evil. Listen to Rev. Ike!

How about listening to the part where he speaks that it is a blessing to give rather than take. The young man to whom Jesus spoke knew that the young man loved his wealth and would rather stay as he is rather than give and become as the LORD wills for Him. It is definitely not applicable to Jesus' disciples because Jesus knew that none except one loved money. Another thing to note is the difference between poor people and beggars. There is a massive difference between the two. Hope you can agree.
