Sometimes I need this song when times get hard. My wife has stayed by my side through me losing my Firefighting/Emt career because of shattered L4-S1 discs that put me in a wheelchair for 6 months. She held my hand for every single step of the way when I had a double lumbar fusion. I was crying and screaming through the worst pain in my life while learning how to walk entirely over again. I didn't sleep for 4 days after my surgery and the only time she would sleep was when I was pretending to be asleep myself. I was 21 when I was hurt, I'm 24 now and there still isn't a day without pain and suffering. My wife is a nurse and without her and our son I would not be alive today. I came so close to giving up on life because of the suffering. But then I would look at the family I have created and I know I couldn't put them through that kind of loss. I would gladly lay down my life to give them the world but to them I am everything. Your life is not set in stone and you need to cherish every single moment. I might not be perfect but I would do anything for my Wife and my son.

I'm reading through these, and my baby boy Bentley is laying at my feet. He just turned 3 March 8th.. He was my daughter's, but she asked me if I could take him bc he didn't get along with her other male, n after they'd had a 2nd fight, her anxiety couldn't take it. Well, I couldn't have dog's where I lived, yet I knew how much she loved him n I simply couldn't see him going to a stranger ( she got him as a puppy). So I went to my doctor n got an ESA letter, so I could take him. I've been battling heroin addiction for 23 years, and he saved me. I was literally at that teeter totter point where I was going to continue to do well ( as well as I could at the time) or go full back to the streets. Well, I couldn't do that now that I had a responsibility now could I? Actually, yeah I could, I'd done it before unfortunately. Yet for some reason this time, he saved me❤. Over 2 years later, I now have my son back as well, a beautiful apartment, I'm looking to go back to school. I have a sober life. God gave me him, bc he knew that he'd give me all the love I needed. He's been by my side no matter what. People can say what they want, yet I believe animals truly show us the meaning of unconditional love.

I had asked him to give me a song I could listen to while he was asleep as to not wake him up when the nightmares struck, this was the song he gave me and I really felt it was a mutual song. We both loved each other so much and believed the words of this song to be true. We’ve been broken up for almost 4 full months and I just stumbled upon this song again and it hurts so much knowing that even though we are still very good friends it won’t ever be the same. It’s like a barrier has shown up that neither of us can pass. I still love him with every fiber of my being and can’t move on but he’s fallen out of love and moved on, this song brings back memories of the times I’ve spent with him and how happy those times were. Now I just let myself rot away behind closed doors and pretend like everything’s ok to everyone’s faces. To anyone that read this keep those you love close no matter if it’s a sibling, a parent, a love interest, a close friend anyone and everyone. Don’t let them go unless it’s truly for the best because you never know if that person is going to do or how they’ll feel if you leave their life.

This is my daughter and I’s song. After going through a traumatic abusive divorce with her Dad, she got me through it. It was because of her I left. I could not subject her to that abuse anymore. This was this is and was my son and my our song during a very traumatic abusive time when his father killed himself in it tore our family apart and evil people took the hold and I went through it deep spiral of addiction God did bring me through it but this little boy is a miracle and he knew and he had a connection with his father and I didn't even take him seriously he was three now I know he's more aware of things than his sister who is 21 years old so y'all please pray for me and I was so close when she was 11 please her dad I mean that's who raised her and not biologically and that's very rare I mean he did not treat her any differently in that she shut down at 11 years old and I am really concerned about her can you please pray for her? She's a wonderful mom but she thinks she needs to be perfect she thinks she needs to have all this money she think she needs to have I just can't imagine living in a social media age where you're comparing people in your lives and it sucks and she's better than that so can you please pray for her and keep that baby safe and talk to her and have communication please and make sure I know she's going to be mad at you but make sure that she does not get involved with drugs or peer pressure let her know about that let her know what happens talk to her and be honest and I promise you we all have them best awesome relationship for the rest of your lives I mean we're close but we're going through some things that we have to deal with thank you and God bless

My husband is a former Marine and has a fairly seriously case of PTSD. He's been through some serious shit the past couple years and I recently put my foot down and told him he either needs to get his shit together or I can't do this anymore. It's been two weeks since he's had a drink or started a fight and he's even pursuing a therapist. I'm so proud of him. He just sent me this song and I don't even know what to say. I love you too. 🤗

This amazing song 💯 was one I played at my amazing husband's funeral. Because not only was it one of our songs but the lyrics and sentiment of it completely describe us. He died very unexpectedly at the young age of 37. I was blessed to have 22 years with him, almost 18 of them married. The ONLY one to ever love me so completely and unconditionally as him, has been God!!! 💯💯💯 He died almost 9 years ago and I still miss him everyday. When I listen to this and other good country music it literally makes my body ache , because I miss him SO SO MUCH!!! 😥😭 I can't wait to see him again in heaven!!!💗🙏🙏🙏💗🙏🙏🙏💗 He never once made me question if I was less than number 1 to him.
