My parents taught me tithing from a young age. I never was in need. Whenever I needed extra, I will pray and He will always provide. Folks 10% is just the beginning. Try God at 100%, you won't be disappointed

@@alecvillareal450 Well in that case you should proceed wisely. Repent to God and let him guide you. Pray and fast about it. I know soon as I got a new job a few years ago (about 2 years ago, but as I recall, I started even a little earlier than that), I paid 10% at least even when times were hard. There may have been times when I asked God what to do and felt led in my spirit to use that money to pay back someone or pay for something I urgently needed. But those were exceptional moments. I even remember once paying like 2% of my tithes and two weeks later the remaining 8% becausr it was really hard. In the end by paying 10% (FIRST THING, 80% of the time, before bills) during the times I was struggling led to promotion after promotion. I never got financially stable until after I started paying tithes. Because it changed my perspective. I'm not owning that money I'm a steward of His money. So I give back what is His to help further His kingdom. God will trust you with money when you remember who it belongs to. Even when you get a bonus you give 10% of that. Ask God to guide you on this.

I used to only give what I 'thought' I could afford, after putting myself first. But Holy Spirit continued to put that shame in me, reminding me God is ALWAYS first. So I sat down and prayed for his help in budgeting and began paying my full 10% FIRST, before all my other bills, I made sure to set aside the tithe first and made what was left work. As the Lord is my witness, once I began doing that, my mortgage decreased and I got a check in the mail, which I also paid a 10% offering from. It does work y'all and God will bless us.

@@joantaylor2123 Joan, if this is you, use wisdom. Ask the Lord for wisdom and discernment concerning your finances. Never give an obligatory 10% because a pastor says you should, only do it if the Holy Spirit says you should. When people tithe just so God will bless them, they will just be throwing their money away. Remember that "obedience is better than sacrifice" and "God loves a *cheerful* giver" so do not give under compulsion but because you want to and God has said to give it. Like the widow of Mark 12, you might feel led to give your last dollar. But only give what the Lord instructs. People are definitely taken care of when they give 10%, but only if it's for the right reasons and not from a place of fear or trying to get something from God.

Dr Charles you are awesome.I hv learnt over & over again to stick to my tithing only because Whenever I feel the money I earn belongs to me.I go back to this message God & your Money. I tithe more than 10% of my earning and also help a few very poor friends consistent monthly toward their basic food and Rent.There is so much joy and satisfaction when I see a smile on their faces whenever I meet them to help them financially.Right from the start of the Pandemic till today God has taken care of All of my needs.Gods word is Real.I simply like the way you expound the Word of God.I pray more people from All over the world will hear you preach the word of God and surrender to Jesus through Obeying the Word of God. The root of evil is the love of money. "Trust in the Lord" that is all we need. Give what you able and give freely. God sees your heart and we are blessed when we give to others. Time as well as money . people use that verse about tithing to preach the prosperity bible. Not Charles Stanly, but people like Olesteen, Copeland, and many others on TBN. We will be rewarded for what we do in the spirit of God.

Nuna Harrington you are very correct. As a new testament believer we don't leave by the law bcuz Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law Galatians 3:10-13.. we can give free will offerings. The old covenant was a shadow of things to come. People sacrifice their first born as first fruit offering during the old covenant. Today no one does that. Thank God for giving us his only begotten son as a sacrifice to redeem us. Blessings!

I think there is a new movie that will be out soon with Priscilla. She is awesome I listen to her and Beth Moore. A few others but tbey are my favorite women. As Christians we lay up treasure in Heaven as we give freely from the heart without expecting a return (In Matthew chapter 6 Jesus explains this concept). When one gives expecting to receive it back it's not giving, it's a loan and it's not from the heart. Some actually get angry at God when they don't get their money back which can lead to blaspheme. The Old Testament tithe had it's purpose for the twelve tribes of Israel and the Temple Priest, it's not for the New Testament Church, the Church should be financed by Christians giving freely and generously to God's Kingdom. It all belongs to Him anyway.

You had me following your ministry until now. Consider the Lillie’s of the field......God will supply our every need. If we are blessed with more, then we share. We do this out of the result of being saved. You don’t pay God to give you tremendous blessings or for protection. He has given me tremendous blessings because I am His child.

This is the absolutely the best sermon I’ve heard explaining the tithe... I’m humbled by what God has given me ( salvation through the death of His Loving Son) , is this not worth 10% of what He has given you? Besides, He owns it ALL! Be grateful we have eternity with Him and escaped damnation, plus He lets us keep 90% as well....

Maybe not exactly 10% because God wants us to give with a cheerful heart … Proverbs 3:9, Malachi 3:10, etc. Pastors are not lazy …they study and preach the word of God so that we can understand the Bible better. Jesus is in heaven and definitely not hungry. So you’re saying that because I tithe God will say to me depart from Him He never knew me? You might consider re-reading your bible. I find that most who do not tithe get offended at messages about tithing.

I have chosen to obey the word of GOD with my finances so he can work in my life.

Dear Charles Stanley, Thank you. Right now I am in a situation where I feel as if I have nothing. I am an intern. Making peas and pennies. I am getting married next year and do t know where to live yet. I don’t have an education because I am a foreigner in this land of USA. I am in ministry and I need a miracle but I know that I need to trust him in my finances.

It's true y'all, the Lord has straightened my life out so much. After I began to tithe, I was able to pay off credit card debt I'd been carrying for decades within 3 years and am now ready to have some expensive dental work done. I don't like to brag about how much God has blessed me, but I do love to share how He keeps ALL of His promises!

My niece shared this video shared with my husband and I , and it really spoke to my heart! We are behind on our tithe and need to prioritize God in our lives. There's no such thing as a biblical tithe received from earned wages. We are free to give as we can, but not biblically bound to pay 10% of our earnings to a religious institution or anywhere else as many would have us believe.

Thank you, Lord, for healing my finances. I just want to help my children, and give to those in need. There are a lot of things I want, and some I need, but those things are not more important than my children or the people who are less fortunate than me.

Dr. Stanley is a true blessing in my life. Every sermon is a wonderful life lesson to help me become closer with God, and a lesson for me to share with others so that they can experience the same blessings in their lives as well.

@DamirVidovic-pf2pk I understand what you’re saying, but I’m leaving it up to God to handle the tithing Christians. I don’t know them. I don’t agree with it, but I still like his teachings. You don’t have to agree with every single thing a person says to like them. I donate my money where I feel it is needed, and to charities that I trust. A person can donate other things if they don’t want to donate money or don’t have enough money to donate. Volunteer work, or things you no longer want or need are just a couple things.

I’ve never been good at saving money 😭 I'm finally realizing I HAVE to break this bad habit & I'm determined to, with the power of the Holy Spirit! 🙌🏼 The spirit of poverty is a spirit of Satan. It is a spirit that uses poverty to steal, kill, and destroy. I want to be a FAITHFUL steward of the time and money God has entrusted me with. I pray for godly wisdom with my finances. I would tithe sometimes but I never put my trust in HIM. 5 years ago I committed to trusting HIM and being faithful to tithing my first fruits. day by day he has multiplied eveything in my life. I have weekly provision. my family has grown stronger and more loving and caring . I have more than enough money to survive at the end of the week!!! I loan to people who ask and I am able to share and bless others. GOD IS GOOD AND HE IS FAITHFULL!!!! YOU CAN TRUST HIM!!!!

Dr Stanley has great videos. What I love the most is they make you think. That's why I try to educate people on my channel. I want people to have what I say stuck in their minds so they can think it over for many days.

With God's grace I've made so much financial progress, good investment and right now I'm just living to help everyone around me. Blessed is he that obeys the word of God!! I am praying that I become an obedient servant to the Lord Jesus Christ!! If we base the teaching re Tithing in the book of Malachi I think it is not already applicable for us living tiday in the New Covenant.God's plan in giving is base on His command to give through Faith, Hope and Love as a cheerful giver.

God can do anything and bless abundantly - because He is God! If He does not bless you something serious is wrong on your part.

Veronica Bolanos no dear lady that is not what I meant - my meaning to this is : do not blame God if there are things in your life which is not good or to your exectations. And only you and God know why they are there. Personally I know that when my heart is far from God how it is and the opposite. If you walk in truth and honesty with Him you WILL experience his presence and blessing - me and my wife can testify for it! Sorry if I said something that does not reflect your personal path with God Almighty. If you have the ability to scold at people like you did then there is forsure something wrong with your relationship with God. Go and read Matthew 5, 6 and 7.

I love to give to God it makes me feel good.

My brother dropped dead. Age 60. Unexpected. Our last words were me saying, Chris the ONLY thing that truly matters now is that u accept Jesus Christ as Saviour' to which he replied, 'Yes'..Anyway.. I have tithed for years but now I also give out Godly books for Chris to reap the Reward in Heaven. I place them in the Little Free Libraries scattered around. I drop some off at McDonalds, in the 2nd hand bookstores. The books are from ThriftBooks and cost me only pennies. Amazon has the ability to deliver books to people in Prison. I noticed the prisoner, in both cases actually picked up the book, personally. 😅 so cool. So Fun. Gods Smile. Chris Reward Dr Stanley pls give Chris a hug in heaven for me. And I willl keep on keeping on. For Christ. For Chris and for me. ❤

@@aacc2216 Hi, This is one of my testimony. Husband had passed away and I was lacking funds. I was a new believer in Christ Jesus. I read about giving but I really didn't understand. So I says to the Lord okay well I'll send this organization $20. In the meantime I applied for social security disability. Weeks went by and I never put the $20 in the mail but it was still on my mind. So one day I put the $20 in the mail and that afternoon I went to check the mail and they approved me social security disability. My mind was blown I was in tears and I just thank the Lord. He is so good. We have awesome God !! The Great I Am !! He is worthy to be praised ! Hallelujah !

OBEDIENCE TO GOD TRULY RECIPROCATES POSITIVELY. I EXPERIENCED IT EVERY TIME. 🤗🤗🙏🙏❤

What's most amazing and intriguing when folks talk about tithing and encouraging others to give, is no person is telling you give here and give there, they're telling you just to give. They're not asking for your money, they're telling you just give whether that be to the local church, a ministry, a charity, or maybe a person in need. God is our provider.

14:39 is the epitome of how I try to look at wealth. If you suddenly died one day, would you be devastated at the lost opportunity of how you'd enjoy it? Or would you be content, thanking God for the time that you had to be a good steward of his riches? It helps me to realize that being wealthy in itself is by no means a sin, instead it's all about what you worship. If you serve God, you'll use money to serve him. If you worship money, you'll find yourself twisting God's name to go after more wealth, or worse, fall away from him entirely.
