This reminded me of some childhood "pretties" I have hidden away in a box. A jar would be a good way to display them.

When collecting feathers, you do need to be mindful of your country's laws. Here in the US it is illegal to possess parts of bird species covered by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. It's unlikely that you'd get in trouble for having a few feathers, but if you were selling crafts using feathers you could actually end up in hot water

Wow! Thanks for letting me know! I had heard about something like that a while ago but it completely fell out of my brain until now. I will definitely be doing some research. Thanks for the help! ♡
Your dad's soft, sweet tone as he discussed the intricacies of epoxy made me smile. He seems like a very caring man. Also I just subscribed and I'm excited to see more videos!🍄

These are all wonderful ideas, I'll definitely be trying the earring and necklace ideas. And the jar of rocks, I have a big box of rocks that need display but I've lost the proper surface space to do so since I moved. Your dad talking through the Epoxy process was also great! Many other tutorials just sorta say "use epoxy" without really explaining how to, so its good to hear some instructions :D If you can get yourself to a beach at some point, you should try finding some seaglass. They're pretty easy to find on more rocky beaches and you can make some wonderful necklaces, rings and earrings out of them. They also look extremely pretty all collected in a jar together.

Thank you so much for the advice!!! Maybe I'll do a video on ocean crafts as well! I was so bad at finding sea glass when I was younger but my best friend always went home with handfuls! I'm so glad that my dad's instructions were helpful, I wasn't sure if people would want to see them or just continue with the video as normal but I'm really happy they helped :)
I'm a cottagecore but im still love these! I'm obsessed with brown and I've been looking for cheap room decor, so thanks alot Farawa!

Thank you! Yes, I think a lot of traditionally scary creatures like goblins, witches, and vampires are becoming less stereotyped in a way. That they don't have to be the creepy creatures you see in old halloween movies but something friendly and comforting. 🐌🫖🔮

I love goblin core becuase it feels much more connected to nature than cottage core. Cottage core is more baking, gardening, and light colored dresses while gonlin core is more about nature walks, crafts, rustic art and clothes, and encouraging people to go outside. I love both but goblin core really speaks to me as an avid nature lover :)
@farawaforest
3 ай бұрын
I understand what you mean! I love both for both reasons! I do feel like goblincore more encapsulates nature in full while cottagecore is more about bees, bunnies, deer, and mice and such. I feel like I am a mix of both haha. But that is wonderful that goblincore speaks to you!
Mann i'm new in goblincore and i think it is my aesthetic, at least one of them... dude it's such a good vibe and i hope i can have decorations and stuff like that :)

Rocks are something I have lots of...and crystals also. I like how you keep your collection of small crystals in the box with drawers, I'm guessing it's a repurposed jewelry box. I'm also a fether collector, I feel like they're like little messages from the bird realm...

Hey farawa- i have some spare butterfly wings- (they were naturally deceased, I have a butterfly garden so sometimes I find them here and there (rarely tho). Do you have craft ideas for them?
@farawaforest
2 жыл бұрын
What a great find! I actually have a whole butterfly I found naturally dead - if it’s like that then it would be cool to glue some moss to the inside of a lid and then put the butterfly on top and screw on the jar upside down, to be like a little terrarium. But yes! I was planning on doing a video of projects to do with dead bugs and bug parts! Hopefully soon 😉

Many of my crystals (like the polished ones )I have had for a while and don't know where I got them from. But some I got from like a nature-buff's tagsale, or a geode, rocks, and crystals shop. There are also videos online to try and help people spot the difference between real and fake crystals.
