A raised floor is not a waste of money. It a better option if you have money. As a matter of fact, I will personally recommend it to a farmer if you are not running the farm yourself. If you are far away and employ a manager or farm worker. Most of them will likely not clean your goat house as you will do yourself. This is where the raised floor makes more sense. At least more than 60% of their waste would have dropped down. All you need for a raised goat house is to ensure you have an exercising yard and that your goats spend more time in the exercising yard (Like from 7am to 6pm) than inside the raised floor. This way the droppings from the raised floor will even be minimal. The main advantage of raised floor is hygiene. It can also be a lifesaver during the rainy season when everywhere will be so wet.

Developed countries have treated wood that will not shrink ot twists. Buy in Nigeria most of the slate will change condition and the kids goats huff will be getting stock in between the slate. Let your worker be sweeping every morning. Put a cctv camera to be seeing and monitoring them everyday. I will like to say many more things but am.not a fan of typing.
