I love H.E.R.'s "Closer To Me" and in an interview she shared how it started with "The Goapele Masterpiece". So excited to seek out and find the Goapele original! So beautiful!!!

2024 and I want to give The Most High thanks and praises that I’m closer to my dreams.

Man, I was 12 when this came out. I just turned 31 this past April. Life is weird but music like this makes it wonderful every time I revisit it. It puts time into perspective. Thank you Goapele.
