Cruyff said he was a very hard player to work with, he said he was the best even when he played at 80%, but he rarely ever played at 100% only in training. Cruyff wanted Laudrup to give 100% and in the end, wanted to discipline him and put him on the bench so they had a conflict and Michael switched to Real Madrid.

@@TellusJD also 3 foreigner limitation that made Cruijff couldn't play all of his foreigners at that time (Koeman, Laudrup, Stoichkov, Romario *idk if Witschge and Jordi were at 93/94 squad).

Forca Barca, You need to look up a bit of history I think. Him changing to Madrid had nothing to do with money, it had to do with Cruyff benching him for some moronic reason. That is probably the biggest mistake he ever made imo. Laudrup wasn't playing in Barca which is why he started looking elsewhere. I mean, look at Laudrup's wikipedia page ffs.. Romário: "The best player I have ever played with and the 4th best in the history of the game."[37] Raúl: "The best I have ever played with."[36] Iván Zamorano: "A genius! ...The reason why I make so many goals is Laudrup."[86] Andrés Iniesta: "Who is the best player in history? Laudrup."[88] Pep Guardiola: "The best player in the world, I can't believe he hasn't won the title as best player." Franz Beckenbauer: "Pelé was the best in the 60s, Cruyff in the 70s, Maradona in the 80s and Laudrup in the 90s."[86] Roberto Galia: "I have played against Maradona, Platini and Baggio. But the player I saw do the most indescribable things was Michael Laudrup."[92] José Mari Bakero: "No one has given the club [Barcelona] as much inspiration as Michael. We all look up to him. Wanna blame someone for Laudrup leaving? It's all on Cruyff. Laudrup never stopped talking positively about his time in Barcelona, his teammates etc. and even in more recent interviews it's always the Barca teammates he talks about still talking to etc. Laudrup didn't want to leave but if he wasn't going to play he'd have to. He was in him prime and the manager didn't want to use him..
