Sorry moses but Goa hotel , taxis are expensive now and even the shack food is way up. The tourist quality ain’t so good either. The services are not as expected for what we are paying . Goa will loose out this way

Hotels should understand that now Goa is not the only option now when foreign travel is opened. Goint to Thailand, Vietnam is cheaper than coming to Goa for the last week of December, so why would people prefer traveling to Goa. They should keep reasonable rates and not think of keeping exorbitant prices.

Hi Moses, I was there at Candolim beach from 7th Dec till 10th Dec 2023. I was staying at Victoria Villa, behind Bay View Shack. This was my 3rd visit during past a year. Out of 3 visit, this was indeed fantastic one. You are doing a great job, providing valuable information for the tourists so that they can plan accordingly and visit various places in GOA. I agree with the guy's comments about Alex's Shack, best food and service on the beach. We have done Goa four times and stay in Candolim and lots days are spent in Alex's. We have done many others but always find Alex's shack the best.

Hello Moses. I came across your KZread channel as I was looking through places to visit in Goa. So just to give you a tiny brief about me, I am a history graduate and gold medalist in postgraduate from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. I have recently got admission into the PhD program in history at University of Auckland in New Zealand beginning on 1st March 2024. My topic of research is tracing the history of Goa during world war1. For the last 3 years, I have been researching Indo-Portuguese history in Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar haveli. I'll be coming to Goa at the end of the month and I was hoping if you could somehow help me out to connect to some local historians or understand the process of accessing Goa archives or Goa Central library. Since my PhD research would take around 2-4 years, my visits to Goa would be quite frequent and looking at your videos, I was very inspired and admired your straightforward nature and kindness. If you could somehow help me out here, it would be very appreciated. Regards.

To visit goa now min. 5k per day for stay + exorbitant prices in shacks.. with same budget we can plan to other places even much better.. so probably goans need to fix this bit...

Moses Bro iam in North Goa from last 4 days with family.. my wife my two small daughters Near Calangute Baga Road But i have the worst experience.. i had 3 arguements from local till now.. they r always ready to fight.. One of them is from yesterday.. i booked a ertiga muv from Goa Miles App for Anjuna Beach.. opposite De Baga deck from Shelsta Holiday Resort to Anjuna Beach.. Goa Miles Cab Driver arrived.. We were inn the Muv just infront taxi stand drivers did a huge arguement with driver & me.. & i had to cancel the Ride.. i felt very unsafe.. i told them i will call Police.. They told Common.. we r Ready.. i scared! Never Expect this from My dream destination Goa😒
Goa is surprisingly less crowded and sort of empty as per winter season standards. Tourists these days are opting to go either Karwar / Udupi that is before Goa or Malwan / Ratnagiri that is ahead of Goa. Nightlife too seems dull in comparison to last year; I felt a medium drop in tourism when I visited Goa 2 days ago.

Goa is now boring, too costly and full of rude locals/workers. Been there a lot and got bored kast time. Cut short my trip hence. If you want beach front resorts, please look up Marquis, O Hotel, Santana, Sonesta Inns, Park Calangute , Chalston , Colonia Santa Maria --- all these have beach access..... good places but they are not 5 star properties.

All of domestic tourists , the outsiders are not bad people. Many of us are well behaved and love goa and goans. We come to party just like the foreign tourists. To escape city life. And we know there are some tourists who are loud and also bad behaviour, but they are like that wherever they go. A request to all my goan brothers to not see all other domestic tourists as bad people. We are all indians and we love and respect every culture. We love goa and respect goans. I see you as my brother from another mother. Make sure you also interview good hearted well behaving fellow indians from other states who come to goa and chill like sensible people. After all we all are sons of same motherland. Peace and love to all my goans brothers and sisters. We love you
