Sticky rice is from North Vietnam? That the first time. I thought is South Vietnam that was influenced by the Khmer that live in South Vietnam because that they native land. That that how Vietnam get influenced from. You just tell a different story. Sticky rice is Thai, Laos, and Cambodian. Vietnam got influenced by them. Cooking sticky rice in Bamboo is not from Vietnam.

It looks like the dark shiny leaf you harvested Is the lá lốt. Ground beef is very good when rolled and roasted in this leaf. It makes one of the 7 famous beef dishes- Bò nướng lá lốt.

Wow, your cabbages are doing so well! Water is surplus at this place 😊, so all the plants are freshly green that makes your garden beautiful! Oh I know that Gấc fruit! I like to use it to cook glutinous rice! If you put all the seeds inside in a big bowl to whist them, the texture will be very thick and the seeds will loose out. It tastes much better if you cook in the rice steamer you had before. Gấc is very expensive at where I live! $12 each that’s about $200,000 VN đồng! While you get them 4 for free! Why not? Enjoy your life, enjoy your good meal DT.
