Unfortunately the speed slides have all been taken down

We would always drive past this park when we leave Washington into seaside Oregon and I would look at this And say one day might go next summer

I'm so sad these slides are gone..still worth the $60 for season passes, though!

@@itssmfkn.potato3563 no, they're not. As of now, all of the water slides require an inflatable tube. Before that, over half of the slides didn't, and they had a huge complex of 4 green slides that interwove through each other. Those were a lot better than the ones they have now.

I know its been awhile since upload but, its usually not too busy here; I work the EMS department. average "busy" day is 8-10,000. Attendace record to date is approx 17,000. (that was hell btw). Glad you enjoyed it. It's not a terrible facility, desperately needs improvements throughout. Word of advice, on a hot day drink water. A good chunk of ambulance transports we do is due to dehydration.

When they built it in the 70's there was more open land. Today's parks are huge compared to this. There's quite a bit of room but a lot of wasted space with the landscaping. Our biggest problem is all the houses around it. We have a noise curfew at 9pm for the rides on the hill like Timberhawk. During Oct and Dec we have to shut it down earlier than the park actually closes.

Whole-heartedly agree. It's primary focus was a water park since the inception, which, with the weather as you mentioned is a problem. There's a plan in the works to re-name the park in hope to improve that impression and subsequently improve attendance. The coasters are an issue. Six Flags put in The Wild Thing and the two bigger tube slides (Zooma Falls and Riptide) that has helped but they bailed when realizing it wasn't the cash cow they originally thought it would be.

I go here every summer and on the 27 of this month I get to go for my 5 time I’m sad they got rid of some of the slides though because they were fun

Jarek's Vlog Account, Yup, The Speed Slides are gone for good. For all I know, they were most likely replaced because 1) The Green Slides [Pythons] were terribly old and I doubt that the structure would hold up long before major maintenance. 2) There would probably have to be major maintenance. *As for the rest, I'll be uploading a video regarding the NEW Triple Slide Complex, & will feature a model of what the slides will look like, slide length, colors & more. Will be uploaded by this Wednesday.*

They don't exist any more. Wild waves tore them down which is super lame because the speed slides were by far the best things there.

I never assumed the focus was a theme park to begin with. I assumed their first focus is a water park. Which is strange considering the northwest's weather situation. Let's be honest though. Wild waves kind of sucks for coasters. The northwest still doesn't have a proper theme park. The closest to it is silverwood and that's in the middle of no where.

Dude! Wildwaves is the best!

The only way they're going to improve attendance as much as they'd want is to get a bigger place and make it indoors. With the weather up here there's just no other way to do that or to get many people to care about it. I'm more amused that both Portland and Seattle have been left relatively untouched by amusement and water parks aside from wild waves.

Wild waves was like, hey, let's get rid of possibly the best part of our theme park and replace it with a sponsored slide so we get more money. So now everything has a long line and sorry but I don't think I'll ever go again.

dont go when its really cheap like when your watching this video pitcher thousands of more people u cant even walk with out bumping into people and it will take a hour to get on the poplure rides i just was there because it was 14 dallers and it was fucking packed just wait and save up more money it will be way better
