Go inside the new Buc-ee’s crowned the world’s largest gas station

A new 74,000 square foot Buc-ee’s has opened in Sevierville, Tennessee, claiming the title of the largest gas station in the world - but there is much more than one kind of fuel offered at this super-sized facility. NBC’s Kathy Park reports for TODAY.

I'd take that over a three dollar roller dog every day of the week - and their gas prices are cheaper, too!

Buc-ee's ROCKS!!! Being from Texas I can honestly say that although Buc-ee's is going national in my opinion it'll always be a Texas thing. Being as it was founded here, for so long you could only find them in Texas. And so much of what they sell is uniquely Texan. But again I love that it's going national because it means they're successful. Also in my family, Buc-ee's is considered an essential stop on road trips in Texas not only because of the products or friendly staff but because of those ultra-clean restrooms. So congratulations to the People of Sevierville Tennessee on getting Buc-ee's. For anyone who's never been to one. If you're near one stop on by. You don't know what you're missing.

I’m Canadian and when we went to Buc-ee’s in their only location in SC after our trip to Myrtle Beach, I was so blown away. Even people working there were pumped (no pun intended ✨😂) to work there and you can see their smiles on their faces. I got so excited going to the store as I saw the mascot! I can’t believe its a gas station, it didn’t feel like it when I went inside. I can’t remember being excited going for a pitstop and getting food, unless it was an emergency 😂. Its nice to hear they are expanding along the south. I love the Brisket Sandwich too. I got a keychain and my husband got a shirt as a souvenir. Looking forward to go to the southern States again and visit Buc-ee’s. ❤️

When I was in the military, I cross trained as an NCO to a different job and went back to school for a few months. I lived in a hotel on base where we weren’t allowed to use MRE heaters or hot plates due to fire risk. We also weren’t allowed to eat at the chow hall because of fraternization with the lower ranking individuals, so our only option was Sonic or Bucees for almost 6 months. Meals were $10-$15 each and a missed meal voucher was only $3 a meal. I got tired of Sonic after a week, but after hundreds of brisket sandwich’s I still love bucees.

But after stopping with the family one day... its hands down its the best gas station and worth the stop for the experience if you see one. The restrooms' are the nicest and cleanest you'll find of any along your trip. The selection and service is outstanding, and I assume that's the case because they treat/pay their employees very well. If you are like I once was and didn't get the exactment of others who had been to Buc-ees, don't think there is anything to it, just do yourself a favor and stop next road trip. I'm in Texas so Buc-ee's isn't new for me. Get you some Beaver Nuggets and salted peanuts. Put them both in ya mouth and eat them together then follow up with a bite of cherry smoked jerky... you're welcome. The first one I used to go to many years ago was very small and it was in Gonzales, and Luling has had a Buc-ee's for years on end already and between that one and the one in New Braunfels are the ones I usually frequent. Luling, Gonzales, New Braunfels, Bastrop, Baytown, and Temple are the ones I've been to.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Suffolk is a nice hotel and the indoor pool feels lovely after a hot day at the beach and the hot tub beside the pool was nice as well. I loved going on the bay bridge tunnels, so huge but too bad you can't change lanes on the bridge or in the tunnels though 😢.
