I managed to shoehorn-in this exact kit and battery in my e-scooter (2017 Lunar Scooter LS1200-Lead Acid Version) and I'm only just seeing your video now. These Vevor kits are a great and inexpensive way to get decent speed and range. I actually got 2 of those SCUD batteries ($90/ea) and plan on adding a second charge port and balance discharger to give me 30AH to double my range.

@@VoltronWatts Gladly, bud! Also, I thought about charging that way, however I'm charging using the XLR port that came with the battery (plugs into the second set of wires below the XT60 connector). The port wire is actually the perfect length once installed in the scoot to reach the battery directly, but not long enough to reach the speed controller charger input without splicing in more length of wire. The port it replaced was identical save for the pinout and connector type, so I could easily resolder the ground to the appropriate pin and it would work for the second battery, provided I duplicate or modify the existing connector to work with the second battery. Still, I don't know how that BMS would regulate across two pack directly charging like that, and I know the balance discharger does not permit charging 2 batteries at once. Have you been able to charge both packs using direct charging? Or was it charging both via the speed controller through the main XT60 input?

Great job! Don’t mean to arm chair quarterback…I wonder if mounting the controller on top of the battery is trapping some battery heat that may otherwise dissipate. Maybe a mounting spacer of a sort could be installed thus increase performance. It’s the subtle details.

Stage 1 for sure is lithium upgrade. Then stage 2 would be overvolt your bike. Easy 27-28mph, motor dependent. Then stage 3, the 1800w/2000w/3000w kit. Easy 35+mph. Enjoy, thanks for the video!

@@VoltronWatts I have done so many 12v overvolt kits for friends and family, it's crazy. Now the upgrades will be the 1800/2000w kits. Most don't understand how much lithium batteries are. Especially quality ones.

No. The 350 is only 24 volts. You could do the same thing with a 36v battery tho. 👊

Hi there I have a question, why did you drill the holes into the motor? You said why but can you explain in simpler terms?

The Vevor motor will fit into the 350 frame. But it needs a mount to put the motor in. Are you in any of the modified razor Facebook groups?

You can find me on eBay often if you search 48v orange battery or greenway battery. If you joins the modified razor Facebook groups people sell them there often as well. 👍

I found a mx500 for sale cheap, listing says it has a bad controller. I want to buy it and get thr vevor amazon kit and a lithium battery. Is that all i need (no lights or amything for now). Any extra connectors or anything?

The batteries are typically purchased second hand from eBay or from someone on the Facebook forum. You can also get batteries like this from Greenway. They are orange in color with the same specs. They also can be found on eBay. If you have FB messenger, send “shrimp dick” a message. He has 4 for sale right now last I saw on the modified razors for adults Facebook page! 👊⚡️

@@VoltronWatts - They had the orange ones in the Modified Razors group on Facebook but they got scooped up pretty quickly.... I need a 48v one capable of 2000w for now but I'm planning on getting the 72v Electro and Co kit so I'm stuck on if I should get the 48v battery or just go for the whole 72v kit. I'm thinking of going for the 72v kit but I need to fix my right side motor mount because the last person that owned it cut it off because the bolt broke off in the stock motor.... So I need a friend w/ a welder or a new swingarm before I can do that. 😩 SMH

i just installed this same setup on my mx650, and I'm getting nothing. I have 3 phase wires connected via bullet connectors, hall sensor, and throttle that came with the kit all connected to the controller. When I plug the fully charged battery in, I get nothing from the throttle. Am I missing a step or something?
