I saw Nina's film Sita Sings the blues for the first time at the Ottawa film festival years ago. I'm so glad I came back to check out her latest work. Nina your animated films are mesmerizing, please don't stop being awesome.

I've come across a lot of these videos lately, but I think this one is my favorite.I actually knew both songs already, and I used to be obsessed with the moses story when I was little. Not to mention, I'm a sucker for dancing goats/rams. 😆

@Derren Aalis I don't think Lovecraft ever used Baal. I was talking about the fact that, in bible, angels are described as a lot stranger than what people imagine when they think of angels. Wheels within wheels and stuff like that.

In the film the Ten Commandments, Moses got older after meeting with God "in person".

That burning bush is creepy. It’s eyes on the leaves. Or the mouth leaves…. Creepy way for god to manifest. But I like it.
