They can shut off a street in a city for normal street shots though, but they can't do all that damage to it. too much time the authorities won't allow and tons of money.

+Blue Whovian they didn't nuke the city, watch the movie. They did use a lot of CGI but it was CGI that couldn't have been done with practical effects. Everything in this movie that could be practical was practical, BVS just couldn't do that.

+Potato Nintyone no, I mean the real joker as in the actual joker from the comics, you know the one Leto's is supposed to be based off of? he couldn't give less fucks about Harley. He abuses and tortures her both physically and mentally. He thinks of her as property instead of as an actual person. This movie version makes them out to be the "perfect criminal couple" when in reality they're nothing (or rather should not be anything) of the sort
