It's sad how unappreciated this film was. I'm glad I got to pay and see it cuz we barely get films like this anymore.

wonderfull,and the kid 5 stars actor
I just watched this last night. Not a big Netflix or Disney plus fan but this movie completely blew me away. the level of digital work was off the chain spectacular. For a small studio to handle this masterpiece blew my mind. I honestly would compare the effects shots to Weta. Incredible job, incredible acting. Just an amazing work of art by all involved.
amazing movie...I found myself t allot in this movie ,as my mom was diagnosed with cancer....so...it is hard to stay strong...this movie is a lesson
7:33 Music at the set, that's fucking awesome! It's a track from The Impossible, also directed by Bayona and composed by Velazquez :D

I'm confused, the movie and actors spoke English but the director and assistants spoke Spanish?
@Heyflaviaahey

The director is Spanish so the assistants he works with are too because they usually make films in Spanish, except for this one the was made in English :) Hope that helps.

EXSPOSED
The movie is GREAT. This video is awful.
Being an actor these days must be one of the most boring jobs. There was a time when, if your script called for a scene in Casablanca, you actually packed up and *went* to Casablanca! If your story involved being on a ship at sea, you actually got on a ship and sailed out on the ocean. Need a desert? Off you go to a real desert. Gotta have the Eiffel tower in your shot? Off you go to Paris. You could get by with props and a sound stage for TV shows. But for the Movies, it was mostly on-site. Nowadays, they just fake it all with computers and CGI, while actors basically pantomime every scene wearing little more than pajamas. It better pay well, because that looks BORING as hell.

Robert Zeurunkl Look at BTS of the Jurassic World. They made so much of a set. Also back then, they made sets and didn’t film on location much of the time.

Robert Zeurunkl I mean they did do quite a bit of on location in the village I used to live in, my dad messed up a shot by putting the bins out 😂. But I imagine it’s quite difficult to put a giant tree animatronic in the middle of nowhere in Yorkshire so green screen it is
