Go-around and Hard Landing Kathmandu
This wasn´t the easiest landing at all. Speedbrakes (spoilers) were retracted pretty late during second attempt. Turkish Airlines A330-300 landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM, VNKT), Nepal. Flight TK from Istanbul Airport (IST, LTFM), Turkey. Flight date:8.5.2022

The terrain underneath is really spectacular.
This was a really early go around. It was more or less a missed approach. My last two go arounds where on Turkish as well. One on the A330 and the last one in the 777. From looking through your videos you do a lot cool flights.👍 Some of those things I did as well.

Where Is The "GO-AROUND"?!?! This Is NOT A "GO-AROUND"! It Was A "POSITIVE" Landing! The RWY Is Short! This Is Also A (Wide Body) A330! Please "EDUCATE" yourself on what a Go-Around really is!!

why was there a go around couldnt hear ? every time ive flowing in to kathmandu theres been a go around due to poor visibility

That wasn't hard landing, he literally slammed the aircraft on the runway.🤨
I think so goaround disappeared your while in sleeping. ,, what a jock,,,,ha ha ha ha
that is not a go around, due to a change in the wind direction they aborted the approach and landed on the other side of the runway

It was runway 02 approach during both attempts.

Kathmandu is one way approach due to high mountains on north side.

@@amolghimire5776 not true at all. They have approaches on runway 20 as well. They can do a circling approach to land on rw 20 and there is an RNP approach available as well for rw 20.

@@japsie9280 My boy, Those are only for small ones, like the ATRs, Beachcrafts, etc. Runway 20 is impossible to land at for wide body aircrafts.

Same approach. Check out frame 0:26 and 2:49, same point in the approaches. The first attempt is from a higher altitude, probably why the missed approach was executed.
