It definitely sets them apart. They're a Search and Rescue training company that also makes knives instead of just a knife company. Jeff Randall is no nonsense.

I respect a company with an excellent warranty they stand behind. Love my Esee knives.

Also side note. Ordered the first production run of the sencillo in magnacut at Xmas for myself. Very pleased thus far. I just can't stop loving the esees

The Ontario quality control on those things is absolutely foul though. I’ve never owned and ESEE, so I can’t say anything about their QC, but Ontario’s has gone down over the years.

Would be cool to see the original ESEE RC era skull logo come back for a run or two. My old RC3 is well worn to the point it rattles just walking around in the sheath but that was one of the coolest looking logos

Hell, they need to make another AR lower run. That logo on the magwell is my all time fav. And I missed the boat on it. Sad face.

I wish I had the slightest excuse to buy that kukri… man it looks well done. I wonder about their Magnacut heat treat. I expect good things from them though!

I have 3 esee's that died in my house fire over a year ago.... I would never send them in. If they broke during use i would without hesitation, but my esee 6 batoned hundreds of oak logs for my stove and never rolled or chipped. I kept my edge more obtuse because it was primarily a wood splitter. Esee knives really are tough as nails.. probably tougher.

Kukri not only one of the best knives. But used by one of the best military units. The Gurkhas make me proud to be British

I could be wrong but to my knowledge A2 steel is about 5% chromium. I don't think you can get a spark off it with a flint.

The way that handle is designed on the kukri is going to cause some problems. Plus it's wood so good luck not cracking that shit in half.

that kukri is remarkably similar to my OKC kukri which is half the price and very good

The Kukri looks nice, I like the handle, but the blade looks a little thin. More of a recurved mini-machete. I know good steels are expensive, so it would be wild to see it made in a good steel and keep it under $600.

How does magnacut hold up against S90V steel?

I actually surprised they are encouraging people to damage their knives. I mean I wouldn’t ever do that. But it’s good to know your knife is covered when using it hard and it breaks.

That's what makes esee the best knife. Super steel shatters or chips, stainless is garbage, all things break.

The micarta would have been better on the kukri without those grooves they will tear your hand up without gloves

Why do they copy the Ontario line? That handle Kurkri looks just as flat as the Ontario. I hate how flat the Ontarios are, my hand doesn't have a single flat spot on it.

A male goat is referred to as either a "buck"or a "billy" goat. Female goats are called "does" or "nanny" goats. So just Goat is Koza..... Jaraca is nothing... Even though it sounds awfully like "Jarac" I'd think that they would research it better and wouldn't make spelling error...

1065/1095 isnt a bad steel. It really comes down to the heat treat which Esse is known for. I “personally” would like to see them expand on their variety. The good news is I’m entitled to have an opinion that may be different than yours. Cheers!

If you think a Kukri give you the fizz then you should try a an antigue hunting sword/hanger. Something our revolutionary ancestors carried.

Esee seems to be one of the most legit knife companies out there. They have the best customer service.

Really disappointing to ESEE outsource their Kukri production to Imacasa. Condor's 1075 is soft and damages easily... usually by rolling on the edge.

Esee making a kukri and branching out on steel choices..... Yes, theyll be getting my money 😂

ESEE always shits the bed on their handles. Almost always too small, whether it's too short or narrow.

ESEE treated me like crap a year or so ago. Probably have purchased 200 high end knives since, but not one ESEE. Worst customer service in the knife world.

BTW if your going to advertise "no questions asked" then dont ask questions. It irritates the living fu*k out people. If you want to ask questions then fine just dont use the false advertisments.

They’re gonna ask and everything but don’t worry and everything because you’ll still get a new knife and everything even if you break it on purpose and everything. Just be on the lookout and everything for your new knife to come in the mail and everything after you send in your broken knife and everything. It’s really wonderful and everything that they do this and everything for all their customers and everything. I wouldn’t worry too much and everything about them asking what happened and everything because their warranty and everything will ultimately take care of you and everything.

Ordered 3 not cheap Kukri from Nepal (spent over $500) and was very disappointed. While the steel looked great, the handles and sheaths were badly made and falling apart when they arrived. I had purchased these as Christmas gifts and didn't have an option of trying to return them.

Esee has nothing real to show. Just knives made from other companies that they slap their name on.

I like esee’s products but this guy is a terrible salesman.

Blade HQ guy is a super nerd, I really dislike him .
