Gnostics 3/4 - The Divinity of Man

"Egyptian Gnostics texts came to Florence in 1492. The Gnostic idea, that man has the capacity to rise above his worldly fate to become a spiritual being, even to be `as God' was the heretical centrepiece of Renaissance philiosophy. This spiritual notion was forced underground by by the Catholic Church's opposition, and into the world of magic and alchemy. However a modern millionaire, Joost Ritman, is an example of how Gnoticism continues to defy the passage of time, to re-emerge in every spiritual era."

    Indeed the entire series is quite incredible and ties many pieces of ancient knowledge ans history together in a coherent fashion that is easily grasped. For those with little or no prior knowledge of any of these matters I would urge you to take a look at the page/link below as a sort of starting point. That site has many other pieces of this incredible puzzle and the "Inner Journey" we all need to take. It will help you bring it all together ! Also realize since this series was made in the late 70s to early 80s, we have morphed into many new paradigms on this planet and especially in USA and Europe. We are in fact at the very beginning of a new rennaisance emerging currently. Or I suppose you could say a new resonance ? The question is will we fumble the ball again this time and let the TPTB dominate us all once again with their dogma of control mechanisms, which are clearly present in every aspect of our lives. We all live under many illusions created for us to control us. And this series simply shows us many truths that have been withheld deliberately and the way to a much deeper and clearer understanding of humanity. www.downtoearththinking.com/religions--prayer-and-meditation.html

    This was made in 1970's or 1980's by the looks of the people. Manufacturing before globalisation was still respectable. At this point we have hit rock bottom and the slimy corrupt leadership exposed. Where we go from here is questionable, do we see dismantling of world economy or reform from within. Cheap oil has enabled a complex society to develop but this is by no means normal in human history. I think we could see a dark age ahead.

    No doubt we could see a new dark era if we do not control the controllers ! On the other hand is it possible a sort of collapse would weed out the culls and we might start over under a better direction of thought processes. All we would lose is what we call technology and I am not at all convinced it has served us well given our lack of true intelligence of how to use it correctly. No doubt there are many outlier events that could set us back many centuries in a split second or or a few weeks ? But that would not necessarily be a bad thing given our current technical knowledge we could use to start over. I suppose the real question in that scenario is how many control freak elites would survive such an event and would they survive after ? There is no doubt in my mind we would do well to take 10 or more steps backwards and start over in some events. How that could or would all come to fruition I do not know ? I do know there are many outlier events in motion every day that could cause such an event. It does all boil down to how we as a species evolve from this point going forward and the choices we make. Things like CERN could destroy us as an outlier of our beloved tech/science insanity !

    If man identifies himself alone as sacred, he ineluctably becomes dissociated from his embodied self. Rather as Buddha he regards sentient consciousness as sacred, the immune system as that centred in and through itself, yet troubled as long as his ego runs riot, in mind body and spirit, to placebo and nocebo.

    But he is not really "everything" insofar as he is merely an imitation of the Original Man, and he is not "everywhere" insofar as he is bound to remain in the corrupt material world, and finally, he is most certainly not for all time, as he is temporary and not Eternal. Nor, in most cases, has he direct access to what it is to be "everything, everywhere, and for all time". But for the most part he besieges those who do, and he does this in league with his fellow monstrosities, and does these things in the most despicable ways. Any truly objective observer, coming to Earth and seeing these teeming specimens of humanity, would finally decide that two species exist, not one. Those who are in tune with the Hermetic Sciences, and those who can only mock and drool over them at best.

    The CEO no doubt has his slaves - slavery is not a dynamic of love or of someone who grasps what love is. He obviously takes advantage of his less financially endowed workers. How else does he gain the greater share... You blindly ignore intent and the condition of the heart. If you do not understand love, then you are separate within your heart from love, regardless of your ideas about physical electromagnetic forces. Do not confuse good and evil as being the same as male and female electromagnetic forces. The problem is not so much matter but who controls the matter, and with what intent. Electromagnetism is a tool of the Almighty, and of anyone else who knows how to use these forces. These forces can be used for good or for evil. Electromagnetic forces are not who or what God is. Electromagnetic forces can be controlled. God, however cannot be controlled by anyone. You do not understand where you are.

    I disagree GPN. Spirit and matter are definitely not the same thing! Only Spirit can initiate the life and energy in matter, never the other way round. Spirit can ascend through all dimensions whereas matter is of this dimension and time without the impetus of life.

  • @gpn4651

    @gpn4651

    4 жыл бұрын

    My friend, I ever said anything about Matter "initiating life". Spirit (which is of God) is manifested through all planes right down to the atomic level of the physical realm. Matter could not exist without the impetus of Spirit. Even a stone has a spark of Spirit embedded in its aggregate of atoms. As Arthur Young put it: "God (Spirit) sleeps in the minerals, awakens in plants, walks in animals, and thinks in Man." All of God's Universe is Life. There are no "dead" or "unconscious" forms. Spirit and Matter are opposite sides of the same pole. The vibrations of Spirit are so high that they can only be perceived as what we humans call "light" As Spirit descends through the Seven Cosmic Domains, these vibrations gradually slow down, creating the "matter" of each plane. When these vibrations reach the Seventh Cosmic domain (the physical universe) they are slowed to a frequency that is extremely low and slow. This allows for the creation of physical forms using the "matter" of this plane. Spirit remains resident in every atom of the physical universe. We are just not yet conscious of Its presence. As Mankind evolves, we will eventually become conscious of the Divine Spark that sleeps within us ("The Kingdom of God is within you"). When we become conscious of this Spirit-spark Atom and awaken it from its ages-long slumber, we will be able to travel a Path of Return that will enable us to re-establish our conscious link with Spirit.

    Some are, some aren’t. Early gnostics were basically Hellenic pagans, and some were very “heretical” jews. They followed Neoplatonism/Middle Platonism. Later gnostics were Christians in the sense that they followed Jesus as a savior and looked to emulate him.
