GNB A30 CONNECTOR

Ойын-сауық

GNB A30 CONNECTOR has been around for awhile now. But I havent really seen many videos on it. So I hope this video helps in case you would like to try them. Voltage sag is much less than the PH2.0 connector and the power loss is not as prominent.
Really liking this lipo connectors and will keep testing them out and see how they fare over time.

    Good review. As a long time fixed wing pilot the constant and various battery connector changes were always maddening. But on these small whoop style quads ANY improvement in performance is a Great thing . Excellent video my Friend

    I tried mounting the lipo sideways to stop battery ejections and making them look like accordions, I found the frames break way more probably because the impact force isn't being absorbed by the battery sliding.

    Does it break exact at the mount above the lipo? I found that, thats the spot that keeps snapping. I've mentioned this to Happymodel and they said they're working on it.

    Nice Shogun! how you liking the connector? I definitely will be picking up some batteries soon. I like BT on my whoops but batteries are so hard to find. At least now GNB will start suppling them and fixing that issue! Any comparison to GNB27? Also you should definitely whoop that FERRIS WHEEL in the background there!

    i think im loving it. Havent flown it long, still testing them to see how it goes.. but so far... its definitely MUCH better than the PH2.0 ones for sure. Hmm... i find the GNB27 abit chunky and doesnt wire up so nice as compared to the A30. hahhaha im limited to 200ft here in Singapore and that ferris wheel is a private owned land... so i can only get that shot from afar. heheh but yeah.. i hear u man.. we've thought about it for a long time! I will no longer be buying PH2.0 1S batteries - The future is the A30 connector -- Is this standard on the latest Happymodel BNF 1S drone as yet? I think it would be nice to have an discussion on LiHV (4.35V) vs LiPo (4.20V) -- I now have been buying LiHV and only charging to 4.2V hopefully so the batteries last longer (Great Video)

    The company is probably planning to replace the GNB27 with the GNB A30. This means that the GNB27 will probably no longer be produced. I think this development is bad. Everyone knows I find the BT2.0 and A30 bad because they have such a super small pin spacing for the cables to be soldered. Not only is it extremely difficult to solder and insulate, no, in my opinion, it is also more dangerous to have a small pin spacing... I will convert all my 1S hardware to GNB27 anyway that the GNB27 will eventually run out... The GNB27 has better pin spacing, and an XT connector has even larger pin spacing virtually scaled to the same size of a BT2.0. And the XT connector is undoubtedly the best connector in the RC sector at the moment...

  • @shogunemperor

    @shogunemperor

    Жыл бұрын

    Agreed. Though the spacing is much better in terms of data, the A30 has got lower resistance compared to the GNB27. But yeah… i think they mentioned that they will still continue to produce the GNB27 so i think ur good.

    @@shogunemperor Even if the GNB27 is no longer produced. The demand will probably go down to 0 because of the A30, because everyone is now using BT2.0 and A30. I.e. the remaining seller stocks are sold super cheap. I will just buy me super cheap 100 GNB27 connector then I have lifelong GNB27.
