Awesome to hear it. Its such a wonderful hobby that has positive ripple effects across life.
Good job Jen's! I usually think "What would Jen's do?" right before I send it on the mountain. Helps me push through and get better.

Haha thank you Cole. Remember that I would also rather go for slow and steady progress rather than taking risk. I never do stuff that makes me afraid. Fear is a useful signal your not ready. For this line I was intimidated but ready and relaxed.

Really enjoying this van life series! Different to see you doing more vlogging type videos instead of tutorials/informational vids, but you’re really good at it. Very entertaining!

Lol that feeling of coming up to a ledge that's too steep to see over while sluff is pouring over you. You can't describe that until you've been in that situation.
Bro everyday i come and watch your videos and i keep saying :wow i hope i can do all of that one day. Keep the good work and content 👑👑

Nice man! This line has been on my list for years! Unfortunately I am out for the season with a blown knee (wish me luck for surgery the day after tomorrow), but it was super cool being able to experience the line being skied this way at least :)

These vlogs are just pure dope… Question for the filmer: how do you fly the drone with that temperatures? Does the battery last enough for every descent? I also have a mavic, some weeks ago I tried using it on a powder day with -8° C and it went down. I always see powder in these videos, and especially on that altitude it must be very cold.

I feel you man. I always make sure the batteries are freshly fully charged and keep them in your inside pockets.

We would call that line a breakfast burrito with Hatch Valley Chillis. Prob need 10-40 or 10-50…motor oil that is.
What kind of skis are you guys using (length/width/how much rocker? and of course brand/model) and how are the snow conditions? I mean it looks like powder but almost looks crusted over or something. Sick lines Jens. love it. Next time you have to take me!

Backland 107mm in 185cm I think not sure about the length just over 180cm. Snow was a bit wind affected and not so easy to ski. Looks way better then it was. Drones does that :P

How do you know if a line is avalanche safe?
@StompItTutorials
2 жыл бұрын
First of all, Read the avalanche forecast, Look for recent avalanche activity, dig a pit or do simple sheer tests. Add it all up in your mind and discuss it with your partners and make a decision if to ski or not to ski. Also have a think/discussion about what todo if your evaluation is wrong and it avalanches on where to try ski for safety and how your partners can get to you quickly to save your life incase it goes terribly wrong. Do an avalanche course! Online is not enough but its a start backcountryaccess.com/en-ch/learn-avalanche-safety
