GN GNAT Cycle Kart Test Drive
This my first real test drive of my GN GNAT cycle kart where everything worked. I installed a few upgrades that worked as desired...the new steering coupling doesn't slip and the revised final drive (28/42) is faster as expected. The GNAT is a lot of fun to drive! It's still a bit slow (25 mph), but still have the governor installed. With both rear wheels keyed to the axle, this kart likes to slide around corners - barely have to turn the steering wheel at speed to go around corners!

Loving the build, I’ve been looking into doing my own front engine build and trying to work out how I’d get it to work. These videos will definitely help! Keep it up!

Don't know how, but you managed to have me locked here 11 minutes, from beginning to the end.. like being in the driving seat. !! :) but please, next time, rise a bit the camera, to look also a bit on the road, that was painful to try to rise the "head " always to look forward! Glad you enjoyed it...and I agree the camera angle wasn't great
Your steering seems nice & tight w/o a lot of Side movement. I was thinking about changing from R&P to a steering box. Was wondering what kind you used?
Whats the rules for building one of those?
How fast are you going?
