I show you how to remove stuck on, difficult GM spark plug wires. Don't cut your hands all up, and use bad words! Do it this way, and get the job done quickly, and easily!

Those coil packs are made of plastic that you do not want to break. I would use plyers with the twist and pull method and if I had to pry agaist anything it would be the headers👍

I just wiggle back and forth and turn the boot and pull with some pliers by the heat shield. It's a pain, but it can be done just time consuming.

I have a 2004 tahoe z71 5.3 and I can't get the wires off. I bought the special plug wire tool also. 80 dollar plugs I can't change. Somone told me I need to break the plugs literally to get the wires off then buy new plug wires. The vehicle has a horrible miss so I figured changing the plugs may help.

Wires don't last longer than the plugs, maybe a little, but that's plying a losing game. 60-100,000 wires are shot.
