I bought a PWM on Amazon, same one you got there. Where can I find the harness for a 2006 Saturn Vue with the 2.2 motor. I put a 06 Chevy cobalt 130 amp alt on and swapped over my regulator now it’s time for the PWM, do y’all sell just the harness

Does having this make it to where you can now run ground wires outside of the rvc and not pass through it.

Hey with these RVC system alternators, does setting the voltage this way, where it's a constant voltage and say 15v (like you did in the video), lower the lifespan of the factory alternator or the battery? I might need to buy one of these, I have two Spal extreme fans that pull my voltage down at idle to like 12.5

loading an alternator without increasing the rpm to keep it cool will damage any alternator regardless of voltage (a moderate load even)

Mine don't have a plug in harness so do I just tap the pcm wire into my factory tan wire or do I cut it and just the pcm wire and let the factory just hang?

Does doing this put a constant load on the engine and keep the alternator running even when it's not needed to charge?

Can you consider making one for Hyundai / Kia vehicles please!

Ok so I have the alternator installed and the red wire ran from the alternator to the pwm controller wich is wired up correctly as well my question is on my 03 chevy s10 it has 1 wore for the factory plug do I take the white wire that you have supplied and run it to that and if so what does it do? Am I going to mess anything up if I dont?

Okay so does this bypass the smart charge completely then? So you get constant charging like the old school voltage regulator way?

Does this work on any high output alternator? I have a 350 high output alternator and it's a 3pin do you have a harnest that will fit a 3 pin alternator

What if your using this regulator on the 2nd alternator that for bass amp only and has nothing to do with the vehicle charging.... Do I still tap that white wire into the 1st alternator factory harness or do I leave it alone and zip tie it out of the way?

Can I use this on a 2014 chevy captiva. Have a singer 240 alt and it's internally regulated.

I previously bought a pwm controller to make one myself but I may just buy yours to make it easier. What I'm confused on is I thought in my research it uses the pwm signal on a 5v not a 12? The pwm controller I have outputs whatever voltage I feed it unless this one doesn't. Or it's ok at 12v

We do the extra work so others don't have to. Yes it's easy to buy a pwm online but it does not come with any plug harnesses

I tried to do what you did but on a Honda accord 1998 on a 4 pin alternator and it didn’t work. Do I Have to connect the computer wires to the alternator connector or I have to disconnect the computer wires from the alternator connector? How can I connect the wires?

In car with pcm controlled alternator only 1 problem: Its all very good,you did bypass the pcm so the light wont appear in dash,you run 15v,but what happens when you fully charged your lto or battety???It keeps throw charging to the battery cos there is no pcm telling not to charge,in that case your alt always charging,always under pressure and the battery too

Only 15.5 isn’t full charge for most lithium 😅

What percent and hz. 13 .9 is minimum setpoint. Remove any sensors on negative cables as well

I have this in my 08 escalade. 160amp alternator and 2 batteries. Mines dont keep steady. Its all over the place when the music is turned up. Sometimes it drops to 11.0volts. I have it set but it dont seem to keep the voltage up. Any ideas?

Sounds like your amp is trying to pull more power than your alt and batteries can keep up with. Probably need a high output alternator 160a isn't nearly enough for some modern setups. This regulates voltage it doesn't create it.

Just hooked one of these up in a 08 Malibu worked great until I cut car off. Cut car back on and the battery light is on and alternator isn’t charging. If I let car sit for about 30 minutes then it works again....any ideas?

@@autotechengineeringusa checked all connections again today and everything is tight....charged fine this morning and then this afternoon would not charge. Let car sit for about a hour and cranked it again and it charged fine again. Works when car is cold and if car has been run for a while and it’s cut off and re cranked it will not charge until it cools down

I have the same issue on 2016 GMC Yukon. Mine will charge to 15.5 but if turn the car off and restart it the battery light is on and the alternator won’t start charging until my voltage is down under 14v then it kicks on.

Ok I have the controller hooked up along with the alternator and it stays at around13.7 will not go any tiger than that

Atleast yours is charging at 14.9, I can't get mine to stay over 13.8. Only time it goes to where I set it for, is when I Rev the gas! I've changed the belt, and I have great grounds, fucking thing won't keep at volts set to! I'm fucking pissed off beyond belief right now! And the guys on vacation

@@817Teamsters I’ve been dealing with the same thing for over a month now....damn thing works when it wants to ....it works when car is cold if I drive it to the store and cut it off it will not work when I go to crank car back up and alternator doesn’t charge at all until I engine cools down...And can’t get nobody to answer my questions on why it’s doing that

I bought mine with the harness and the regulator comes on when in acc and turns off when I start the truck. I used a the add a fuse from AutoZone for power. Any help would be wonderful. Thank you.

sorry to hear. we would have swapped it for you. alot of people been running for years, but such as electronics, things do happen

How do you reset one? Mine has stopped working, it still lights up and the knob still changes the %'s but the volts don't change when I meter it.
