Do you have the measurements for the taps on the steering box ?

I don't have any measurements. You should be able to get an idea from the video. Once you get the box apart you can see where the 3 teflon seals ride on the casting where the input valve is. You want to make sure the port you drill into the valve section of the casting is between the deepest teflon seal and where the Torrington bearing goes for the ball screw, being sure to not get the hole where the seal rides. Also be sure not to tap it too deep, you don't want your fitting to screw in so far that it makes contact with the valve, or is so close it restricts flow. The other port is pretty easy, just drill and tap into the long port that is cast into the box. It is a blind hole and may require a shorter tap to finish. Also be aware that the cut will be interrupted since you are drilling into a cross port. It is very easy to botch the casting, sneak up on the hole size so you don't end up with a triangular hole from the drill bit having an interrupted cut. Good luck!

The holes are drilled to 7/16" which is correct for 1/4" NPTF (also NPT). As for the coordinates of where to drill them that is kinda tricky. Pretending that the box is mounted to a frame, looking forward from the back power steering lines from the box to the pump are at 12 O'clock. I like to drill the other ports at about 8 O'clock since it makes the one going into the front piston oil port a little more "square" with that part of the casting. Front piston port is roughly 2.4-2.5" forward of the edge of the casting where the valve lock ring goes (measure from the casting, not the lock ring). You want one assist port to intersect the oil port that goes to the front side of the piston. The box is factory drilled in the thicker rib on the casting that goes from the valve up to the front. You can spot it on the rear side of the casting by the small plug that is pressed in. This one can be tricky to drill since it is an interrupted cut into the cross drilled port. Try to drill so that you intersect the factory port in the middle. Do not go straight to a 7/16" drill, because the interrupted cut can deflect the drill, making the hole oversized. You can get a rough idea where I drilled in the video. The other port is the port on the rear side of the piston (front part of the valve chamber). if you go too far forward you get into where the Torrington bearing goes, too far towards the rear and you get into the teflon seal. Mine is about 2 5/8" forward of the edge of the casting where the valve lock ring goes (measure from the casting, not the lock ring) Hope that helps out, probably makes more sense when you are looking at a bare casting, Be sure to tap the ports to only as deep as needed for the fittings you are using. If you go too deep the fitting can block off part of the port on the front piston port, and on the rear piston port you can really screw stuff up if the fitting goes in so far that it mechanically binds up the valve. Check while tapping often.

Is there no way the swaybar could stay?

No, as soon as you go crossover the drag link and the sway bar occupy the same space...

What setup are you using for the ps pump itself??

GM Saginaw pump drilled out to 5/32 with all the shims removed on the pressure regulator. Nothing fancy or expensive.

I just sprang for the full psc system. With the 5inch lift in the front and diy hi steer arms I was able to keep my stock crossmember. Did a little trimming just in case.
