I know. I wish I would have caught that on camera because it is the BEST description of this color. They should really have called it "Safe Purple"

The old yellow was the perfect supercar yellow. I’m kinda glad they aren’t doing green since my Z06 is already being built because bright green like that was my first choice. I’m definitely getting that Carbon Fiber diffuser eventually but now I’m broke for a little bit lol.

Pictures and videos DO NOT do the C8 any real justice. You have to see this thing in real life. I live very close to the newly opened Durango Station Resort Casino here in Las Vegas and there was a Rapid Blue C8 with the Z51 Package. I gotta tell ya: that babe stood out.

Quite interesting that the ZR1 won't be a turbo flat plane V8. McLaren has pulled it off, successfully. But, Mc's aren't that reliable. I'll stay tuned...

@@HorsePowerObsessed Plenty of people running turbo’s on the gt350’s. Fathouse has 1600+whp gt350’s running around. So you can definitely reliably turbo flat plane cranks, but I agree it doesn’t make sense for chevy to have to warranty them at scale.

Obviously everything is illegal here in California but we're the sport cats with the stock exhaust or aftermarket exhaust

Purple sort of looks like Kona Blue of the Mustangs. I’m color blind (mild) and don’t know if camera matching but it is “akin” to Kona. What do you think J? I would like to see a dark free as in a highland green of the Bullitt.

Has anyone heard of the 2024 ZO6 blowing the tranny or engine yet? I think either the engine or tranny blew today. Only 170 miles on it. No racing just driving on the freeway and it happened. I was still trying to break in the engine. 🤔

May have something to do with the engine being too big in displacement? mclaren and ferrari engine sizes range from 3.8-4L in size where as the Z06 is 5.5L. Regardless, I wouldn't want it any other the, my Z06 is probably the best car I will drive in this life time.

I agree with amber, that purple is disappointing

I love performance talks when it comes to gm vehicles. But it's insulting to hear them talk about cosmetic changes that they then charge even more for, even the vehicle is not faster or better performing. For instance, the RST(rally sport truck) has nothing to do with performance, it's a cosmetic upgrade that gm charged more money for . Insane. For that alone , I don't like general much anymore. I'm interested in performance. I don't care it they sell me a bare metal Chevy Tahoe, just so long as the base engine is putting out 500 hp NA .
