I've used gel medium for years to glue stuff and then decided to try an acid-free PVA adhesive (liquid glue like Elmers but neutral ph). I was so sad it made the papers wrinkle. :( I didn't even think about it before I bought it. Back to gel medium. Thanks for the video!

Great tips! I do a lot of magazine collage and cannot always use a glue stick. I have struggled with bubbles. I often glue large images down and it can get messy. I will definitely give the credit card idea a try. Thank you! Bless

Great video!. Thank you for all the "chemistry" on the papers! That is extremely important! I have been very unlucky with glue sticks. I have used a variety of brands (many well-known!) and the glue doesn't hold. Can you recommend a/ or different brands of glue sticks? ❤

Thank you for your presentation! Hope all is well with you. I made a cardboard coffee table and tried gluing wrapping paper on it unfortunately, it wrinkled and did not stick to the cardboard table. I even sanded the table.... No luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I use rubber cement and have found I rarely have wrinkles or bubbles. But, it isn't good for tissue paper. Then I use pva glue.

All the papers wrinkle like crate paper when they get wet help

Hi Sue, is it possible you're adding too much glue. Are you using PVA glue or gel medium?
