GlowShift 7 Color Series Oil Temp Gauge Kit
In this GlowShift Installation Video, we demonstrate how to install our 7 Color Series Transmission Oil Temp Gauge. This gauge monitors your car or truck engine’s oil temperature from 100° to 300° Fahrenheit, ensuring your motor oil does not break down prematurely and cause harmful wear to critical engine parts.
About The 7 Color Series

The Tinted 7 Series has a stealth-like tinted lens and black gauge face; the Black 7 Series has a black gauge face and magnified clear lens, and the White 7 Series has a white gauge face and magnified clear lens. Are the sensor for oil temperature and oil pressure in the same location at the engine? What if I want to install both temperature and oil pressure?

How would i install 3 gauges into the car if I only have one source for each of those, theoretical question: Would I be able to crimp the orange wire of 3 different gauges into one fuse expansion?

Lets say thats i already have oil temp gauge installed, how would i install my other 2 gauges if i already used 3 expandable fuse for my first gauge alone?

Clip off those current expandable circuits and use 3 new ones. Twist all of the red wires from the gauges together and place them into one expandable circuit. Then do the same with the yellow, black, and orange wires.

your vehicle must have a stock oil pressure sensor or oil temp sensor, try finding a Y adaptor that will fit instead of the oem sensor, and on one "arm" of the Y adaptor reinstall the oem sensor and on the other arm your aftermarket sensor.

Do I have to have the sensor installed in order to have power working on the gauge? I have my ground and my test light shows it’s solid. I have the 12v ignition linked to my fuse box with rest light showing that I am solid there. But before I go through the trouble of taking my filter off and installing my sandwich plate for the sensor, I wanted to atleast see if I have power to the gauge. But when I turn my key on, I get nothing from the gauge. So I am wondering if the gauge has to be wired to the sensor to work. Otherwise I’m lost. Unless the I am using the wrong amp fuse. I’m using a 3 amp to add to my 7.5 ignition with an adapter.

Without the sensor, the gauge will still power on but will not show a reading until the sensor is connected. The gauge will only work with a GlowShift sensor.
