Stunning...when you got to the coloring I was saying NO, NO, stop now because the black and white was so pretty. BUT, you pulled it off beautifully...just beautiful!!! I'm going to try to recreate it tonight with what I have for a sympathy card. Thank you Gina!

Thanks for revisiting this technique. Looks like if the cardstock bleaches white, you can also add a different color (pencil or copic) for the wings. Can't wait to try it! Thanks, Gina.

You've got some great techniques that I've not seen elsewhere. I tried doing the resist embossing today and it turned out great as a first try. All I did was following along with your video. This card is just beautiful. now I know how to use bleach. I'm glad I purchased the water brush, I love using it for many types of coloring.

This is such an awesome technique, its so sad that i am allergic to bleach, I get severe migraines and i vomit with them, anytime i even get 1 smell of bleach. so much so that i have to carry imitrex with me in case i go into a store or Drs office that has used bleach and the smell is still lingering. I really wish i could do this technique. I guess i will try it using peroxide and see if that works. Your butterflies are lovely!

How do you get rid of the bleach smell for people who have sensitive noses? I was thinking of maybe placing a dryer sheet over it for a day or two but I am new to this, so I would like to know your idea. Thank you.

This has to be the ugliest card you've ever made! Just thought I'd grab everyone's attention after reading all the posts about it and couldn't think of anything different to say!! LOL Just love, love, love it!!!! Have never seen this technique before since I'm just a year or so into card making but will definitely give it a try! Outstanding colors too!
