Dang- what an absolute honor. I am glad I could give a small fraction of inspiration back after taking so much inspiration from you over these last years. Fantastic end result!

LEGEND!!!
If u wanna avoid the frosty edges, leave the brown protector layer on the acrylic and it cuts super neat through!
@bradonhoover3002
Жыл бұрын
I think the issue that came up as part of his research is that weeding the protector off afterwards with such high detail/closed loop cut patterns ends up more often than not taking more time and putting more permanent scratches in the material to the point that it obscures the artwork more than it would to just peel the protector off first and wipe it with alcohol like Jazza did
@RickHunterCL

You can remove that brown protector and replace it with a low tack transfer paper, way easier to remove

@@bradonhoover3002 I learned to used gorilla tape to do this, it'll stick to all the little bits and I just keep moving it around sticking and removing. Great for tiny bits of paper mask.
Jazza is really just pumping out ideas, and I’m loving it

I work with laser cutters for my electrical engineering major in college, that moment at 5:56 where the acrylic didn't cut all the way through was painfully relatable
3pm in the afternoon, suddenly Jazza has lazers.

Just waiting for the day when Jazza shows up as a shark with frickin’ laser beams attached to his head.
This was really cool! I'd love to see this technique combined with resin pouring one day!
@ceepally
Жыл бұрын
Ooh that would be cool! My only thought would be the light might diffuse differently between the resin and not show the engravings! Worth a try for Jazza because even his failures are great videos (like the Mario pour where everyone kinda had a flop)
I would love to see Jazza experiment with printmaking especially drypoint since all you need is an acrylic sheet and a drypoint needle to create your marks.
I‘d love to see like a „masters series“, where you combine different Art Styles and create even more interesting ideas.. like combine this lasercut idea with epoxid landscapes in an infinity cube

This!! Boosting so Jazza sees
I love when you do different types of art mediums.. And this one, definitely was mind blowing
you should try something like arranging mirrors in a space to reflect a laser beam to create some artwork. it would show if you put smoke or fog over it. like those string arts when you knot a piece of string between nails
For generally using Lazer cutters it's better to keep the film on the acrilic, it helps minimize the fuzziness and in general it's better to do it for everything you can it helps also with wood to minimize charring if you place tape on the area you wish to cut. This is just my experience with using them and it works completely fine for etching too obviously. As long as you have a good ventilation(not even needed just me being really really overly cautious on advice), which you should since you use a Lazer cutter.
7:53 I think the best thing to do with a forefront character would be to reverse the lines and have the “open” spaces be a fill area so that they are etched to be opaque and stand out front the background more 👍!!
So watching this video I realize Jazza already has a kind of experience with this already. Starting with the painting he did with Chloe Rose, then the Treasure Planet one he did with his Pro Pack. The way he set up the layers reminded me a lot of the way he set up the Doctor Strange piece. It's incredible how what started with painting on Epoxy kind of leads to things on this
You can make a digital artwork (or use a photo) and separate it into the red, green, and blue color channels, and hand etch those into the acrylic like you're cross hatching with a pen, and then when you light those 3 panels up with red, blue, and green lights they'll add together into a full color image.
This is very cool! It’s interesting how you layered the colors to make the perspective details. It’s funny that I would have layered them differently to make the details pop different, but that’s just how my goofy little brain saw it as you were putting it together. I love comparing ideas to improve my artistic style. Thanks for creating this piece and sharing it with us ❤❤❤
Nice effect, Jazza.... what's unique about your channel is your willingness to try ANY artform, no matter how different it is to what you've tried before. You're very brave for trying so many mediums.... well done :)
I'm so impressed with how you keep challenging yourself and your creativity. It helps inspire me to get out of my rut with my art and try something new ✨️. Thank you
This is a really cool shadowbox concept, and the result is awesome. Great stuff.
It’s crazy how you guys can still come up with new stuff to try😂 idk if you’ve ever done Lino/rubber stamp carving it’s be cool to see jazzs do that
You always push ideas further than expected Jazza! Awesome work! 💪
The different colours are SO cool with this effect 😳
Imo this video combines every aspect of Jazzas channel that makes it special
Jazza is always so happy, love you jazza ❤
Use the clear rear panel like did for the back. Get blue, red, yellow, and lightly smokey gray sheets. Engrave the background on clear. Next, take all the pieces that are red and engraved on the red sheet. Blue on blue and smokey gray for the black outline. Then stake the. You might need to get thin acrylic like 3mm.
Yes yes yes I’ve been waiting for light painting! Love it! So creative
This has been one of my favorite videos!
I've bin doing this by rotary tool since I was a kid..glad the ideas evolved
That has some serious depth! Nicely done!
WOW! This was an art form using tools and mediums I've never seen before and you created something really epic. Can you imagine huge movie posters made this way and hung in front of cinemas as ads? That market needs to happen!
So glad you could salvage this video, it's incredible!
Absolutely loved this one
THIS WAS AMAZING! ❤😂 I love miles sm 😊
Wow - this looks absolutely stunning!
This is just amazing!
Absolutely love the result on this one!! ❤
Such a cool result
That was really cool. Seriously amazing. Well done. 🎉
Omg that was amazing it's so cool keep the videos coming
been running an Asus gaming laptop the last year,, its been fairly consistently impressive to be honest,, Im glad your finding new interesting sponsors tho Jazza!! good on ya!
Have you ever heard of or seen Michael Garman’s sculpture towns? He has a museum in Old Colorado City. City scapes, and windows sow a holographic projection like you’re peeping in on people’s lives. Amazing. The layers you did reminded me of this museum.
I love it! I especially like how it looks like you just got up to look out your window and Miles is surprised to see you. The acrylic looks like you are looking out of a window ^-^
Jazza that looks awesome!
If you ever want to use the 2nd option lights in the future, I think I had either the same one or something very similar in my college dorm. The R button adds more red one point at a time up to 255 so you have to really spam it to see a difference. Same with the G and B buttons.
That’s awesome! Man I think if the tag on the wall had it own color layer I feel it would of popped more u know. But I still what an awesome job and can’t wait to see u do more like this 😊
Jazza, I think you are on a roll right now! Great job to you and your team 🎉
I would love to see this technique using the etching to create highlights. And use the negative space to suggest the rest. Similar method to stenciling white onto a dark surface. This method made it look kind of like a negative.
That final piece was 🔥🔥
That is super amazing ❤
props to Jazza for acknowledging a smaller channel as his source of inspiration not a lot of channels would so something like that.
That looks really cool...gr8 job Lazza!!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
Being a fan of Ideal Idea, this made my day. Keep up the good work!
This reminds me of glass painting with all the different layers and kinda 3D I think trying glass painting new isn’t too much of a difference so it might be easier cause you had to think how the different layers would work for this piece and with glass painting if you do it. Amazing video though you inspired me to do this kind of medium thank you.
One of my favorite works of yours!
another incredible video! Your talent blows my mind
Such a neat idea. I always wondered why the layers hadnt been made different colors for this style art. I am surprised you didn’t seem to have dont the final color pops on top like red last layer and it only the logo on the wall and his top in red…may the spray can but just those parts only. Idk still turned out neat!
Jazza, thank you for all your videos.
Dude this is just crazy!
OMG!!! That’s so cool. It came out really well. ❤️🥰😍
This looks amazing!!!! ❤❤❤ I have been watching your channel for a really long time but have never subscribed and I just had to today. Keep doing great work
This does look awesome.
This is so awesome Jazza!!! 🕷️😎
i did a lasercut project in college and we did acrylic and particleboard, and put a light underneath (the acrylic one), which looked neat, but this looks even cooler with multiple layers and colors to set up the city scene with Miles in front
Flame polishing works wonders for cloudy acrylic. :)
good job Jazz I love it .
An amazing creation!
I stopped watching your videos for a while as I got caught up in life and completely forgot about KZread, recently I've started catching up and honestly I've just realised as I clocked in to this video that I've been watching your videos since I was 17. I'm 19 now- 20 in Oct that's 3-4 years and it shocks me how amazing it is, how much I've grown and how much I still love watching your videos; they have always been such a comfort, when Ive felt unsafe or if I was sad, if I was angry or happy Ive always come to your videos and enjoyed them. I wanted to thank you for that
I think it would be really cool to see Jazza try Glass blowing,
OMG ILY JAZZA
Dopest art I've seen in ages👌
Thinking about getting a new laptop. Definitely have me looking at that one now. Thank you!
probably one of your best artworks in all honesty🤩🤩🤩
Try flame polishing the acrylic after engraving and cleaning. A quick lick with a blowtorch will get rid of the frosted look
great video always makes my day ty!
This is actually cool!
So cool!!!
This is can make a masterpieces during literally everything 😮❤
That is so freaking cool! 😍 Oh, the possibilities! 💫
Now we need jazza to just mix and mash all these crazy cool ideas into a mega art project.
Oh my what an epic artwork
Now that was really cool end result.
Cool video. Looking forward to whatever comes next!
That looks so good
I like this video concept. would be interesting to assign crew particular parts of a final product, to make a combined piece as well.
thats so cooooooool !!!
For the backdrop you could also try 3d printed CMYK lithophanes. That would look amazing
Well……. I wasn’t expecting that. I am truly lost for words. It’s mind blowing, Thankyou so much for putting this together it is exceptional. I love it 😊.
This medium really works with the art.
Like your art and it’s really good 😊
This was very cool
Incredible!!
This is such a cool idea! 😮
It’s so cool
This is so cool=3 Jazza always amazes us=3
Looking forward to this. Lasers are cool :)
