I usually don't like photoshop tutorials without a voiceover since it's always super hard to follow and not really beginner friendly, but you explain things really well, thank you!

Hey, if you are having problems with overglowing objects and loosing darker details, try to change some of the ''Linear Dodge'' Blending Modes. When it happens with me I usually put the first layer and the last layer from the group as ''Hard Light''. But I don't recommend changing more than two Blending Modes because it will loose a lot of bright

Tried this, but it still orange-washes everything in the background of the image I'm trying to add this effect to. Reduced the gaussian blurred linear dodge to only 3 layers and radius of 5, 25, and 75, and although it helped a bit, unfortunately still looks more like a bad sepia filter on top of light from the glowing book. Even tried reducing the saturation of the Hue/Saturation layer, but then it doesn't give the book the nice colour that I wanted, so I think I will need to find a way to make it so that only the linear dodge layers get the colour, and not the background.

@@WebflippyOfficialPage I followed everything down to a tee, and my results came beautiful the glow is just amazing and this was my first try of Photoshop, I mean I've watched Photoshop tutorials before, but this one was easy to follow so this tutorial is responsible for my first successful attempt at Photoshop, so again awesome tutorial, I will be following your tutorials more often :)

The best mode for tutorial I've seen till date! The Ambient music, the subtitles. Suits the target demographic perfectly! One thing though, I watch it at 2x, so please increase the duration of subtitles a bit :). Cheers 🙌🏽
