Great fight! If Amel started the fight with the same energy she ended with it would have been a much more competitive and things may have ended differently.

It's a highest level chick fight, so why the 3 hot blonde chicks in pink? Shouldn't they have like 3 bare chested dudes from Chippendales or something? Not that I'm complaining or anything. Just started realizing how good female fighters are. It takes a while for some to see how good they are, like me. Both these French fighters are REALLY good. Meksen has a 'habit' of winning the brief skirmishes in all her fights. Hard to beat her when she gets the final say in every minor or major exchange. No matter how many times she gets hit, still looks like she came out on top. Stats clearly favored her at the end. Meksen is REALLY cool to watch. She says she sleeps, eat, and trains and trains again. It shows in her performance and in particular in her physique.

There was no doubt Anissa won this fight. She controls the distance extremely well and concentrates on adding up high scoring strikes rather than overall aggression. Her high level of technical skill makes it very difficult for other fighters to beat her and forces them to push forward and take the most of the risks. That is why I don't understand her choice from about the middle of the 3rd round to resort to unsportsmanlike conduct. I'm referring to the kicks to the groin, walking forward more than two steps after catching the leg, the elbows and the two or three extra strikes after being instructed to break by the referee. These are not major infringements and would not affect the outcome of the fight. She also knows from experience how far she can push it before getting a point penalty. It's just so unnecessary and detracts from what was an otherwise impressive display. Amel has decent punching and kicking skills, but the effectiveness was reduced by Anissa's excellent distance control. While Amel has heart, pushes forward and doesn't make it easy for her opponents, I believe if she works on her lateral movement and distance control she could become a serious contender.
