Glorify God With Your *Entire* Life

What’s up Fam! Today we’re diving into the nitty gritty of what the life of a Christian should truly look like- glorifying God in ALL things. On this Christian walk, it’s crucial to reflect often, taking the time to determine if our habits are truly reflecting Christ as they should. God has given us His Spirit which allows us to live a life that is pleasing and honoring unto Him. With Christ we can do all things, but apart from Him we can do nothing. May we glorify Him in ALL things. Join us as we share from our heart to yours.

    One of the best ways Paul writes is amazing! Taking Ephesians as an example. Ephesians 1-3 is Doctrine. Ephesians 4-6 is Practice. You will notice that in a lot of Paul’s writings!

    One thing I struggle with as a Christian is how to handle when other Christians especially leaders, pastors and teacher do something wrong, maybe a sin or teaching a false doctrine. I guess I hold some resentment especially when they are stubborn in their ways or I entirely give up on them and don’t listen to them and regard them as false teachers when they don’t humble themselves. However I wish was more forgiving and actually made time to pray for them. I just get hurt by it and I guess I wish I didn’t hold grudges by other Christians disappointing me because that will happen and only Jesus is perfect.

    Can I tell you guys that I’ve fasted and prayed about something, and didn’t get an answer from the Lord in my quiet time this morning. It’s now lunchtime… a giant lizard was on my curtain (south Florida here!!) and I had to shoo him out the door. I thought to myself maybe I should go out there too. I grabbed my laptop (work remotely) and my phone and had this episode pop up randomly first so I clicked on it for background noise. (adding these details because how funny is He? Using a giant lizard to lure me outside to have this time where I was seeking a cozy spot with background noise-otherwise would have been at my desk fairly focused) I continue working and as soon as you start reading Colossians, I set my computer down and read it myself. All of this is what the Lord needed to use to answer what I was praying and fasting for. Directly answer me. I’m in the 90 degree sun with goosebumps. I’ve read this a million times but THIS time…. is when I needed it. Wow It never gets old when He answers us directly with the word. I’m crying, always in awe of Him. Thank you for letting Him use you guys.

    Would you be open to doing a podcast on the seven deadly sins specifically gluttony. And the line between treating your body with respect/not overindulging/feeding our flesh, and the “self care” world we live in. Not sure if that makes sense but it’s been on my mind a lot!

    I have a serious problem with gluttony (over eating) and laziness. And it doesn’t glorify God. It hurts my husband, child and it’s selfish. But I can’t seem to shake it. I relax by using food. And I guess I just would like prayer or help guidance on this. I have been to the church pastor and others for prayer on it. But if there could be any videos on how to be free from a stronghold sin, then I seriously need help. I hate it.

  • @RCGWho

    @RCGWho

    I suggest fasting and repentance to break the stronghold. Make sure you have an established habit of both spending time with God as a regular discipline to "fill up your love cup" and then run to Himand some scriptures that address these issues. Consider overhauling your diet by researching different healthy diets that you can slowly switch over to that is sustainable rather than a crash diet. Add some form of exercise to your lifestyle. Just my thoughts. I struggle with the same things.

Thank you both so much for your service and always being so honest.

    You both are a blessing to watch and to see how the Lord is working in both of you at such a young age, praise God. I also used to think for many years that sanctification is a process that starts at salvation and ends when you die, until I listened to the Michael Pearl Sin No More teachings. It completely changed my entire viewpoint on what sanctification is and how I walk with the Lord. It's life changing... highly recommend. God bless both of you!

Since coming back to Jesus and accepting him as a single parent I've given up a lot that my flesh wants me to do however I still struggle with things like vaping and letting my emotions guide me, and I also do listen to certain secular music and watch movies and tend to ramble and overeat as well I just hope the more I draw to him the more I'm able to glorify him and put him first through everything i do instead of my flesh

    Have you gone through deliverance? That helped me. However, I still get the weird dreams & mental attacks at times. We just have to stand in faith that we have authority. Some days are better than others. God is also preparing the body as a whole as to how to fight the darkness especially as times get darker. You are not alone.

    Milena, I think part of Christian habits is letting your husband lead. When it is just you it is okay if you talk about something you have strong convictions. But it does not feel right watching this podcast and you are leading the conversation while Jordan is just there to supplement what you are saying❤️

    I think she let him speak and that it was very cute when she asked him to read! Letting our husbands lead doesn’t mean sitting silently or not sharing our thoughts, and so I think it’s important to be careful when commenting things like that bc it puts a negative view on submitting. I feel like I can see the respect Milena has for Jordan and also the respect Jordan has for Milena !!
