If you consider that the girl in the video is dancing ballet, which black people are minorities in the field, you would realize that Naul is putting himself in her because he is singing a R&B song, which Asians are minorities in the field. In the context, when you say that the girl somehow expresses the loneliness well in the video, you pointed out exactly what Naul wanted to express in this song.
