*Correction* Multiple people have reached out and stated that Glock did not release the 45 at the consumer’s request. Not exactly sure if that’s accurate, but the below is directly from Glock’s website (G45 description): “The compact crossover pistol G45 in 9x19mm combines a compact slide with a full size frame and has all the benefits of a Gen5 model. Utilizing the design and engineering GLOCK developed for its military pistol (G19X), combined with Operator and worldwide Law Enforcement specifications.”

i"m a firearms instructor in Maryland, I often have first time shooters start on the Glock 45 MOS. I have many Glocks, including the 19x. Glock is the only gun I trust with my life.

Last week was birthday I was looking at a G19 when I got in the store I bought a G45 MOS and I’m happy my everyday carry has been a Gen 4 G27 with a G23 13rd mag with a xgrip sleeve and I sometimes carry a Gen3 G22 this is my first red dot capable and I’m excited for a RMR and trijicon Suppressor night sights I also have Subscribed to your channel 😊👍

@@cashrun1 I like it a lot. Like it’s functionality/durability. It is a clearer dot than any other manufacturer I’ve used, but for the money, I keep going back to Trijicon.

Great video my dude. Don't stress the lack of fancy stuff. Most of us are regular dudes like you. I'm usually rocking a G19 or a G45 depending on what I'm wearing, but I'm not doing a whole lot of Gucci stuff to em. I'm gonna play with the PMM jttc comp eventually, but I'm a big member of the church of red dot optics. Keep it coming!

Thank u for sharing bro. I have a Glock45 MOS for range/training. Talon rubber grips, Timney trigger system, Trijjicon HD night sights and a Holosun SMS green dot. I haven’t consider it for EDC yet and usually carry at the 9 O’clock. I’m sure I’m gonna get some printing at the last half inch of the grip.

Luckily for me, I live in the Midwest, so I can carry the full size options once it starts getting into hoodie season. I also carry appendix, so it’s a little bit easier not to print. If you’re carrying 9 o’clock, I assume you’re a lefty, correct?

Great video. Recently just got back into owning handguns and picked up a Gen 5 Glock . Used it to get proficient and now looking for a concealed carry . Both the 45 and 19 look like great options. But then again CA just approved the Sig 365 as well....

Thank you, sir! I had a P365xl and I loved it, just had a couple of issues. I do recommend testing it if you can before you purchase just to see how it suits you. It is great for deep concealment, no doubt.

As a Sig P226 guy, my transition to the G45 MOS for EDC/AIWB was seamless. Great weapon.

I am a Glock 17 guy perfect Glock for me, I did purchase the G47 wonder why LOL...I also purchased the G45 love them both. Didn't like the G19 not enough grip for me the G 19x wrong color for me FDE not for me in handguns.

Been running a Glock 45 mos for a year or two now. Needed a new trigger bar assembly to fix a trigger pull issue (second wall feel) after about 500 rounds but it’s a good reliable shooter.

My dad picked up a G45 recently and I just took it out shooting. It's nice. It fit my hand alright. It's a comfortable shooting gun. Accurate, but all Glocks are accurate for me except for the G43. That one, for me & nearly everyone else doing shooting videos with it, shoots left. I don't care for full sized guns all that much, but I do like dad's G45 better than my G17. Both are gen 5. For me and my size & shape hands, the G19 is still the best duty sized Glock for me, but I'm like you, a gun guy, so getting them all is never a bad idea.

Definitely get both and either send 19x off for slide work or you can swap for the two tone! Should REALLY look at mapleleaf firearms. Their Cnc work is top notch and not so pricey. I’m soon gonna post their duty cut on a g19. G4 19c. It’s really sweet and have on a another special one as well. Nice video ! Keep it man !

Will question? Have you tried Glock performance trigger ? Great content enjoyed your insights, and your spot on about every topic . Even though I’m not a Glock fan boy , it’s a great platform. G45 mos in my opinion is a great tool for me , I have kept my 18 round pre ban magazines. I’m a great believer in comps as well , they do work doesn’t matter the caliber 9mm 45 acp etc . My take on Glock performance trigger 👍no sight disturbance is a good thing , allows for better groups, I’m a fan from first magazine. K

If you like crisp rather than rolling, try a dot connector on the preformance trigger.

G45 is a great option. I switch between a 17 Gen 5 MOS and a 19 Gen 5. I’m looking to add the G45 to my rotation.

What is that barrel on your G19? Is the barrel chamber section cut different or is it the slide that's cut different? It looks like there is a black bead outlining the chamber. It looks awesome.

I have my Glock 45 configured in pretty much the same way (except I have a Holosun, but may eventually switch to a Trijicon). But yeah, the Glock 45 is definitely my favorite out of the different variants. Now if only Glock would release something with a 19-sized grip and 26-sized barrel and slide

I have big hands too so the 17/45 size grip is more comfortable but I think the 19 is great because you can get a comp and a magwell and still be about the size of a 17. The 19, 17 and 45 are all incredible weapons.

I just started with Glocks with the 48 mos. I put like 500 rounds on it without any malfunction. The trigger average is 3.5 oem. It’s reliable. I own different firearms from different companies but mostly a sig guy. I’m looking to buy the 19x and the G45 because I like the way it looks. P.S. I used my make fun of my Glock friends but Glocks is starting to grow on me. Mahalo and Aloha 🤙🏽

I have a G2c right now. Not a fan of the double trigger on the G series. My hand naturally catches the trigger safety. Other than that big fan of the grip, capacity, and safety features. I think it’s the perfect entry level weapon

I was looking at the Glock 45 today and the Glock 19X at my local gun store and in the hand the 19X felt ever so slightly heavier. So when I got home? I researched it on the Glock website. The Glock 19X is about a 1/2 an ounce heavier than the Glock 45. I picked the G45

Jagerwerks did all my work for me on my 19. It’s a tungsten cerakote. I go into a little more detail on my first EDC vid feat. Glock.

I must say, there must be something about the Glock brand/ platform. Cause I notice those who do choose the Glock tend to have multiple models of the Glock from the 19, 47,23,17, 19x and the 45. So yeah for a company to make or entice people to buy their product over and over their marketing is topnotch. Even though I’m not a Glock owner I do like the model 45, it tend to have everything that I would want the gun to have besides the external hammer. You know what!!! That should be Glock next move “A hammer fired model” if they do that, I’m in I would buy me a Glock.

I got a question on suppressor night sights.Why is it really needed if you don't plan on get a suppressor? Hope someone sees this and can answer my questions.

Co-witnessing/high visibility sights act as a backup just in case the red dot goes down, battery is depleted, etc. They are tall enough to see through the red dot verses the standard height of iron sights…

I have a Glock 43, 19 & 22…I have a list of firearms that I need and there is a Glock 21, 45 & 17 MOS. The situation that I have now is that I need the Walther PDP 4” full grip and the Springfield Echelon full size. See where I’m going?😂😂😂 these last 2 could take the 17 & 45 place!!!!

I got mines when they first released. I wish I would’ve got the MOS instead 😢

Sorry to hear that, man. Glockstore does 10 day or less slide cuts relatively cheap, or you could look into sell/trade. Most undervalue when you sell or look to trade though.

Have you tried the RMR HD or the RCR?

Tbh, Aimpoint’s have the clearest dots to me (with my impairment). Most dots, including RMR’s, don’t look as clear as the ACRO. I’m just used to Trijicon…

@@bobdylan7432 all good. I’ve been training with red dots for quite some time, and the front sight regardless if it was hi-vis or blacked out distracted me when I first started. Had to train on fundamentals of using RDO’s, now I pick up the dot automatically ( on draw or from low ready).

I carry the glock 23 in the winter 😎

You can train as much as you want (and training is very important) but if your firearm is trash it might just cost you your life when you need it the most, how much is your life worth? You can find police trade in Glocks for 300 bucks, go buy something reliable.. seriously. Sincerely from a guy who works in the firearms industry and sees it all.
