I'd go with the 29 personally.

I have all 3. The g29 is a newly acquired firearm. I'm loving it. I need to get some grip extenders so I have a place to put my little finger for more control of the firearm while shooting. Great firearms.

I have a 17, 19, 26, & 20. 19 is the road trip car gun, 26 is the CCW, 17 is the night stand, 20 goes into the woods and the 1911 stays in the safe lol! For "urban" CCW the 26 is great, if I lived in a rural community I would carry a 29 hands down since the 10mm is no joke with a full power load.

I own a 23 Gen4 and I'm waiting for the 29 Gen4. I've shot the 20 and love it!! Im still trying to find 29 to rent with no luck. It would be for hiking and 4wheeling. My 23 will remain my EDC for capacity reasons. Great vid!!!!

Hey Man, great video. Just wondering what grip extension you have? It sits well with no space between the mag and grip.

I currently own a 23... I want something smaller so I looked at the 33,27,&29. I would love to get the 29 next but I really need something smaller so I think I'm going with the 33 or the 27....but my next glock after that will definatly be the 29. Can you really feel the difference between the G26 and G29? I have the 29 for conceal carry and it’s not a bother. But been thinking of a G26 but if they feel the same then I’ll stick with my 29

I understand this comment is 3 years old...but yea 😂 the 26 is CONSIDERABLY smaller and lighter in literally every single aspect lol

@IRSteevo The Gen 4 26s came out a month or so ago. The 29 isn't out yet...but I may have to get one when it does come out.

I carry my G29 and really like the gun....it is definitely heavier than the G19 and thicker, but can be concealed with a good carry belt and holster.

G19 everyday! But the 10mm is pretty fricken cool.

If you have the G26 and want the bigger caliber. You can buy the G43 barrel and put it in your G26.. now you will have .40 cal.

@@lfader I’m sorry… I am thinking of the G27. The only difference between the 26 and 27 is the barrel size. So if you have a 26 and want the .40 cal. You can buy the 27 barrel.

Sub compact has nothing to do with the barrel or slide size. It’s has to do with the size of the frame

G 26

There was no reason to design it the way they did except being cheap. They should have just put the extra length on the grip and barrel. The advantages of that would be 1 mag capacity( the extensions dont work very well/and using another guns magazine is stupid sliding up and down 2 they make flashlights that fit the 19/23 where as there are prob only 3 flashlights/lasers that fit this gun 3 i could fit all of my fingers on the grip getting a better "purchase" on the gun. They really dont make anything for this gun in the accessory realm when compared to the rest the glock inventory. Its design and creation are a big fuck you to the 10mm enthusiast. It shouldnt even exist. I love the power and accuracy but i know the gun would be better if it was just a tad bit larger. And dont tell me to get the glock 20. Thats too big to carry. The 29 isnt too big. Yeah its heavy but so is my p229 sas 9mm(they weigh almost the same).

Andrew Lapp - Wow, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. As a big 10mm fan and someone who loves the Glock 20 and carried it CCW in an appendix rig for a long time (not comfortable at all, BTW), the Glock 29 hits the sweet spot in power factor vs form factor, and I have since made the switch and haven't looked back. Glock designed this gun with the idea of a semi-auto alternative to the ever-so-popular snub-nose .357 magnum revolvers that many people still carry even today, and a barely smaller version of the Glock 20 wouldn't be suitable for CCW and would be less appealing to someone looking for a home defense or woods gun, thus finding itself in no man's land. And since the 10mm is too powerful to be controllable in a true subcompact form factor like the Glock 26, they had to make it bigger and heavier to handle the recoil and make it more comfortable to shoot. Add in the popular Pearce PG-29 pinky extension (shown in this very video, no less), which is flush on the back end to prevent an increase in printing and flares out in the front to form a full size finger groove, and you've basically got a slightly more concealable G19 with the massive firepower of the 10mm - what's not to like about that? The reviews on this gun from the vast majority of publications and review sites seem to mirror this sentiment, so while you are certainly entitled to your opinion, just know that you are in the minority here. :)
