I've had at least 6 Glock 21's. (Two SF models, a C/ported model, standard version etc)I always come back to it, I shoot it well. You will too! Love My Gen 4 21. I just got home from the range with it. Man, what a sweet shooter. You did well with Yours! Great price. I am sure You're enjoying it.

I like your vid. With all due respect, and I'm posting this for all to see instead of trying to message you privately because I think it's important... bug bag, guns, survival stuff==yes! I believe in all of that. However, the best survival tip for folks (Americans in particular), and if the shtf it'll come in super handy as well, is to be even semi-physically fit. If there's no gas for the car and you have to hike, or run away from danger, you gotta be able to do it without collapsing. If you're fit you might not take 3 different meds per day that you won't be able to get when the shtf. I'd put my money on a fit person with one gun, a knife, and a backpack against a pick-up truck full of duffel bags, body armor and supplies driven by a huge out of shape person. Full disclosure--I'm not in super good shape myself, but I think it's really important and I'm trying (gym/diet). Again--nice vid, great gun. I'm up in Maine myself. My 30s mags don't drop free like I'd like em to either. Must be a .45 glock thing. Fuck it, I'm still running it.

G21 isn't my cup of tea like I thought it would be. But that's after shooting the G41. The reason I found out why I like the 41 better than the 21 is slides weight difference. Three ounces lighter is why I favor the g41 over the g21! Stiff kick naturally inherited with .45 calibur that I love! I'm hoping the 5th generation in the .45 calibur is on the basis of the g41.

A year later I just bought one "Used" for $880 ( It does have a few upgrades on it, and is off roster in CA though)! lol but it's nearly impossible to find anything in stock right now, at least here in California. After calling about 8 different local shops who said they had nothing in stock, one finally said they had a 19 and 21 in stock, and so I let my mom get the 9mm G19 ( Even though that was what I was originally planning on getting) and I bought the 21 that was also a police trade-in, but looks like it was never even fired! Still waiting to go pick it up but very excited to get it to the range as I've never shot a .45. I know I overpaid, but a few hundred extra bucks is well worth potentially saving my or families life! I have a feeling I'm going to be happy with the .45 acp over the 9mm G19 though! The other thing that sucks though is that because California has the worst gun laws ever, it doesn't even come with any mags because the max allowed is 10+1 and so the shop had to keep the 13 round mags! I figured if I was gonna get a .45 it would be a 1911, and stick with a Glock 19 9mm. I guess it makes more sense in CA to go with 1911 since the mag size difference isn't as big between the two. Although, I have to pick up a nice 1911 eventually, and very possibly not in the state of California!

I’ll be picking up my first Glock tomorrow. I bought the Glock 21. I’m left handed too. Did you flip your mag release? I’ve done that on other semi-autos and don’t anticipate that being a problem.

I do it on most every gun I can. The sig 365 was an exception. I typically see which side of the pistol it’s better on gun by gun. On Glock I swap them all.

Your mags might no be the "drop free Glock Mags"? Look on the internet for what mag to look for that's drop free. I have both. Also safety first, the people behind you shouldn't messing around the shooting table.

@@GreenMountainDefense - I bought one used and the mag release seemed tight - I bought it and fired it. After firing I could not get the mag out. It was seriously hung up. I took the gun back and they couldn't get it out at first either. They kept it and started searching the net. Found an issue with that ambidextrous mag. I guess the way it was done the part that connects the 2 sides had a habit of breaking. I believe now they have a quick switch mag release instead of ambi. -All this is what I was told by the local gun shop. He took the gun back and I wound up with a S&W model 19, which I love. I still want a Glock 21 after shooting it once, and I am on the lookout for a different gen without ambi mag release. Hope this helps.

@@GreenMountainDefense There was one glock model (gen 2?) where they had a true ambi safety. They quickly changed it back. But I guess the forums are full of issues with the one gen that had it. anyway, I am glad you don't have that one. Like I say I do love the G21, and still want one. A great shooter.
