A railway to linking a land lock Ethiopia to a port in Djibouti is a life line for economic development of both countries. China is showing the Africans by real example how they could extricate poverty themselves. Like by building the African first CDC in Addis Ababa, providing free medical teams in many African countries and supplying vaccines/PPE the whole of African continent, with all its 54 countries put together, has managed in every week with less infected cases and covid deaths than the US throughout the pandemic.

Can't Ethiopia built it. Afterall it's just Conventional railways, not HSR. So much more than required money went to Chinese.
